"UristMc Stupid cancels store owned item: Item inaccessible"

How to find this offending item? I forbidden everything in moats, murky pools etc and nothing.

I tried finding this on the wiki, but no luck...

What do flashing pink "Pale" and "Faint" indicate on the Wounds screen of a creature?

they're losing blood and will probably soon die.
it makes them much weaker anyway, and if they're bleeding it gets worse.
(blood isn't regenerated, at least not in this version)

Are good/bad plants, e.g. sunberries, still bugged?

so, my mayor, is also my militia captain...when he likely becomes a baron, will he...become useless? or will he do some vigilante justice if people break his rules?

You choose who becomes your Baron.  I'd advise going through your dwarfs now, before the autumn caravan shows up, and find one who likes things that are easily produced.

As far as justice goes, neither the mayor, nor the baron, nor the militia captains are responsible for direct administration of justice.  There's a separate role for that -- captain of the guard.  Plus anyone you assign as his/her squad.

If you  build rooms with ropes/chains in them and designate them as being "for justice" (by pressing (j) when you make the room), then most of your justice will take the form of incarceration, rather than physical beatings.  I suggest having some detention cells ready before you designate a captain of the guard.  Otherwise, a newly appointed captain, seeing miscreants in need of correction, and seeing no cells available, may assign the punishment of "beating", even if you then remember to justice-ify the rooms....

How big is 1 in-game block? I'm sure there has to be some way to calculate it.
Big enough to hold three thousand prone dragons, but so small two kittens can't both stand at the same time.

As far as I can tell, yes.  In the few forts I've made in .25, the elves never have them and gathering plants outdoors never yields any.

Nowhere, it's not defined, anyone attempts to assign a value are guesswork.

exactly.
except that it's probably the most logical value, given so much stuff can fit inside it.

Given that you can fit infinite stuff in a tile if you call it a dump and only seed per tile in a stockpile, I'd say that by that measure DF exists in some sort of quantum level where normal physics need not apply.

read up the dwarven physics article on the wiki.
trust me, I've got a theoretical degree in traditional theoretic physics and a practical degree in dwarven practical physics. I know what I'm talking about.

I'm guessing the block isn't a cube. Since it takes 1 log to build a vertical axle but 1 log per 3 tiles to build horizontal axles. You could measure it somehow like that, that you start drowning, but don't yet drown, when the water level is 4/7 of the block height. Also, water has an easy density. 1kg is 1 liter is 1dm^3. Does it anywhere say how much a full block of water weighs? Or, I was able, through a bug probably, pick up 7/7 water, as an item in my backpack, from inside a cauldron from inside a night creatures lair. Maybe that helps...

Ok, just genned my first world in .25. Haven't played since .18 or .19. Having some issues with finding a site. Namely, I don't know what the heck "deep metal" or "shallow metal" mean. The other new stuff is a bit more obvious.

Kinda annoyed I can't see exactly what the site has now.
