I no longer see any magma forges or magma using buildings listed as being buildable, what's up with that?
Have you discovered magma?

Thanks, that was it.  :)

Annoying though, since with dfliquids you can have magma without 'discovering' it, and still can't build them. Or even preparatory build them, regardless of using a hack for aesthetics.

Is there a way around it anyone knows?

How do I clear all the broken bolts around my map? I think it's starting to kill my frame rate because they're ontop of the slope icons and flashing >.<

Is the edge of an embark map a wall?  As in if I dam off a section like so:

^^^^
^~~~
^^^^

will the water "fall" off the map, or be retained against the embark wall?  I realize you can't build Constructions that close, but I suppose I could dig out a piece of mountain or some dwarfy nonsense.

Rain will clean them off.

Funnily, I'm in a biome that has a rainy season and there are still broken bolts that have been there for over a year.

There is a brook down at the bottom of my map, but I don't have much knowledge of pumps and the like.

The amount of malice in this thread is actually causing me some concern. I mean, chaining up mothers and forcing them to breed, just so we can drown their children to harvest their organs? Does this strike no one else as absolutely horrific?
You misspelled 'hilarious'

If they can, they would be the one exception.

There are many issues with this statement.

No, building destroyers cannot target buildings on a different z-level.

So, you are saying that a ramp with a floor hatch on top of it is impenetrable?
