Is there a way to increase the fontsize of truetype? Without zooming in, that is. I don't want huge tiles.
They're too tiny to be comfortably readable to me (and most other people, I suppose, since I have very good eyesight).

Are buckets still bugged in the new version? In 3.12 sometimes buckets get left around the place, and can never be picked up again. stockpiles nor dumping can make dwarves touch them again.

Press "q" move cursor over stockpile. To reduce number of barrels press "e" (or "E" to reduce to 0) and for bins press "c" (or "C").

No. If you reclaim an old fort, you are able to put the old fort's artifacts up for trade though.

What if they're in a bin with something else?

Edit: Still having trouble with marksdwarves training. It's the "I have ammo in my quiver but I don't want to do anything with it" bug. This is .12 because .16 won't play on my Mac despite me having an Intel processor.

Make sure you don't assign them any weapon (even a pick!) as a weapon. Otherwise, you'll activate them and they will drop their Mining Pick and run to the weapons stockpile for a War Pick, though as far as the player is concerned they are both just picks. Or they would, if the reason they had been activated in the first place doesnt kill them.

Same goes for Woodcutter/Axedwarfs.

is there any way to stop my pets getting into areas? they just go through non-pet passable doors when the dwarves walk through them and they keep getting themselvelves killed causing dwarf tantrums.

basically is there any kind of contraption that has been designed to let dwarves through but not pets?

I use a system for keeping pets out of danger rooms, not pretty but never impaled a puppy since...

Basically 4-5 doors back-to-back all set pet impassable, since theres no space between doors for them to stop in they can only go as far as there are open doors and i cant imagine theres ever enough traffic to cause all to be open long enough.

Not sure what happens if they make it partway, never happened to me

But war dogs are kinda, well, you know, capable of not getting killed.


And really, I'm still having the crossbow problem - 10 separate ranges (1 target each) assigned to a 6 dwarf (4 active) squad, who all have a quiver full of wooden bolts, yet won't use a single one on any of the designated targets.
