Was she a noble? Did you assign appropriate rooms/fill her mandates?

Not to my knowledge. No. Also, wouldn't her mood go down in a curve instead from plummeting from ecstatic to suicidal emo?
Even if she by accident filled a nobles spot I was constantly checking on my nobles demands and requirements. Since I couldn't spot any trouble there....

It's a mystery.  :o

I had a visit from a 7 headed Dragon but it said nothing about poison or anything else, only beware its seven headed blabla...
The Merchants killed it with ease, I didn't even interfere.

That was a hydra.

Did you accidentally destroy his/her only masterwork or something?

Is it possible to clear out Hell or are the demons infinite?

Both.

Are werewolves butcherable? What tag in the RAWs gives them this property if so?

Werewolves are not butcherable.  This is probably due to them having the CAN_LEARN tag, as well as dwarves having ETHIC:EAT_SAPIENT_OTHER:UNTHINKABLE in their entity file.

Can Armok appear as a god ingame? Like "he is associated with blood"?

I asked because I've had happy dwarves go to near-suicidal simply because they'd won a mayoral election, I didn't notice and didn't reassign offices, and then they didn't have an appropriate office for a meeting. It's a fairly intense and sudden happiness hit.

The commonly-accepted theory is that the player is Armok.

Very likely, considering how sadistic the players are.

Orders are set for dwarves gather wood. The trees are designated to be cut, there are no burrow restrictions, he's a Great Wood Cutter, carpentry is his only job, and there's a weapon stockpile with 5 iron and steel battle axes.

Any other ideas?

Check if you have the (o)rder "dwarves gather wood" disabled, and if there are any burrow restrictions.

Edit: You need to tell him which tree to chop, via (d)esignations --> chop down (t)rees.

You're playing Dwarf Fortress.  There isn't much of a distinction.

Is he in the military? That's the only other thing I can think of.

Are the demons vulnerable to magma? What about drowning in water? If they spawn, does their existence cause any detrimental effects to happen to the FPS?

He wasn't but I just drafted him now, to try to manually get him to equip that blasted axe.

Did you mean to say "Carpentry"? Because that is not the same job as "Wood Cutting"...

If a civilization has only one fort besides you own, will you get migrants, besides the first two waves? The wiki says no...
