I don't know if he has that or not, but I doubt it.

I'm gonna assume you're serious, since your profile says you've only been here 3 days or so.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

In case it is still unclear:

"Urist" is one of the names that can be randomly given to a dwarf. Because of an insanely popular insane dwarf in a story fort, it has become the generic name for a dwarf.

No, but there might have been one named Urist before he was renamed.

Hey guys, what is the point of bookkeeper precision? When I set him up in the first year, I pick highest precision and get numbers pretty fast. Does this only become a factor after many years?

It's like real-world accounting, except that the bookkeeper tracks EVERYTHING. More accuracy means it's easier to keep track of food/booze stocks, how many of any particular items are available as compared to in use, etc.

Ya, I mean to say: why shouldn't I ever pick highest precision? I don't see any downside to it yet.

Basically, it takes a couple of seasons to max it, most forts don't have enough items to need it maxed early on, and it ties up a valuable dwarf.

I just had a siege for the first time since version 31.12 They walked about 30 squares towards my fortress, but then they all stopped. I have nothing that blocks their entrance, and I changed nothing about it during those 30 squares.
All i did was move my army to the entrance and limit civilians to the burrow.
But now i don't even have that. I just keep my fort going like nothing is happening.. the soldiers are sparring etc.. they still wont move.
They are just slowly spreading out through random movement 1square at a time.. i refuse to attack them out in the open when i have 33 cage traps waiting for them..

What's wrong here?

EDIT: Ok suddenly they were all gone.. i guess they knew i had traps there and got bored waiting for me to come out..
..though i actually had dwarves running around on the map, not that many squares away from them, but enough to not aggro..

Um.
What does one do when one breaches hell?
The only answer I can seem to find is "die". Repeatedly.
