Is there any use for feathers or skulls?
Feathers no
Skulls can be made into totems.

Is there a way to turn black-cap water wheels to be actually black?

yes :\ it's an init option

Is it? I never spotted a setting in there that pertained to strange moods, unless it's Artifacts?

That's odd. The white logs make white water wheels.

There are many issues with this statement.

It's "Artifacts", yes.

It's either the first log or last log that determines the wheel's color. I think the wiki says it's the last one.

[MASTERPIECE_ARCHITECTURE:A_D:D_D]
[MASTERPIECE_CONSTRUCTION:A_D:D_D]

(from Announcements.txt)

How can I modify this to prevent masterpiece spam?
Remove both A_D and D_D. IIRC A_D is for adventure mode... yeah. That should work.
[MASTERPIECE_ARCHITECTURE::]
[MASTERPIECE_CONSTRUCTION::]
It is not working.
Is it even possible?

Yes! That did it.

It is a hollow triumph, though, for in the course of delving for his wishlist, a cave dragon decided to crawl up and molest him, toppling the forge in the process. The dragon was no match for forty untrained, unarmed, unarmoured dwarves though. Is there any way to view the kill list for a deceased cave dragon?

In the unit list you can still (v)iew deceased creatures.
AFAIK this includes access to their kill list, if they had any

I think that file only changes the behaviour of the game with regards to the announcement, not whether it logs it at all. What if you remove [MASTERPIECE_ARCHITECTURE::] and [MASTERPIECE_CONSTRUCTION::] entirely? If that doesn't do it, then I don't think you can stop the game from logging the occurance.

So, in order for a Bee hive to be successful, all it needs is to be in an outside tile, right? Does it matter if it's built on, or covered by, a floor?

Well, and I'm going off of how windmills work here, I would say completely uncovered. Windmills need to be "outside" and stop spinning when you cover certain of their tiles with a floor (or anything else), no matter how many z levels up they are "covered".

I have a couple things I need confirmed/answered about .19 here.

Dwarfs seem to ignore stoneware or earthenware pots all together... sometimes. I've got a collection of large pots sitting in their respective workshops untouched, not even hauled to the furniture stockpile. Then, I've got a couple sitting in the stockpile unused, and still more being used to contain food. just a couple, though. What's going on there?

Then, Wool. Sometimes I can get it to be spun into yarn, other times, it is simply dumped int the refuse pile and the dwarfs seem to act as if it's not there. Something to do with the wool being insufficiently long, perhaps?

Finally, with the new Grass system, has anyone ever had a grass fire in this version? I had a fire breathing titan show up and breath fire a few times. It brought my FPS down to basically a frame a second until it eventually went it's course. Anyone experience the same?

In answer to my own question, yes, the hive can be successful even when it's Inside. However, the test was done with the hive being built upon natural above-ground soil.

It states that it needs "Outdoor access", so it's the Above-ground tag that's probably needed, not the Outside tag.

Can those new big clay pots be used as barrels at the still?
