An example of a loyalty cascade would be a bolt from one of your followers hitting another.
This would make the crossbowman an enemy of the other's civ, and he would be attacked on sight.
Your other followers would defend them, and now your whole group is the enemy.

Nope, no one is attacking anyone else, before nor after the villagers won't talk to me. Is it possible I picked something up or something that only activates when you ditch town?

It is possible you stole something; check your inventory. If I am not mistaken (and I very well might be) stolen items are marked by a $ or something like that. If you didn't it may be a bug.

I'm very careful about that, and I was under the impression they shunned you the moment you do that, but I'll check(euch, at the moment I'm laden with treasures from a giant's den, this might take a while).

Btw, can you drag an unconscious companion?

Breaching all 3 layers of caverns make my fps go down at least 30%, maximum of 150%, is there any way to avoid it? Also, if i don't use magma for anything then workshops, will turning off the temperature will affect anything, than freezing/thawing of water? Also2, if i set cavern layers to 1, will this only cavern be equal to the third cavern in vanilla, or to the first?

Thank you.

I'd say going back in time is quite desirable.

Is noise something I should be careful of when I am planing my fort?
How bad is it?

I never bother with noise, just don't place workshops in the immediate area of the sleeping quarters.

Well, I don't know why, but they are ok with talking to me again. Exactly what I did:
Dropped a random piece of jewelry I had in my backpack from a raid.
Picked it back up.
Viewed it's description.
Went to a different hamlet nearby.
Talked to someone there, confirmed that they would talk to me.
Came back to the original village.
They talked to me.

I don't have any $ in my inventory, although I do seem to have an inability to equip something in the 'over' slot on my right hand, (mitten).

Workshops are pretty manageable, just make them 2 Z lvls away from your sleeping quarters. In all honestly I've never have a problem with them directly next to a room either. The main problem is mining/woodcutting, these have a noise value of 8 so don't mine or cut wood within 8 Z lvls of your sleeping quarters if you can help it. Eating causes 1 or 2, so putting the dining room in the middle of your sleeping quarters is allowed. Placing a construction has a massive 16, so although the dining room itself won't be disturbing filling it with furniture will be. Engraving also causes 2-4, so don't engrave a room while a dwarf is sleeping in it. The main problem I've seen is people placing siege engines in their entrance which disturbs sleeping dwarfs up to 16 Z lvls down, although that can be a good thing if you want them awake.

Just plan out your fortress, dig it out, and place most of the furniture before you move the dwarfs in; then just be wary of where you mine/chop wood.

Are barrels supposed to be in refuse piles? I imagine you could put rotting meat in them, but nothing else. I've never had barrels in a refuse pile in any other version either. I've tried to disable barrels in the refuse screen but it doesn't work, and when I'm out of barrels 20+ dwarfs try to put something in that empty barrel :/ As for that, why do dwarfs attempt to barrel/bin items in stockpiles that they don't belong in? They carry the item to the barrel/bin, realize it's the wrong stockpile, then carry the item back to where they got it from so another dwarf can repeat the process. Why can't they just remove the barrel/bin from the stockpile since it's not being used?

But where else then in volcanos should i get magma? Or should i savescum in order to dig around of caverns, leaving it unrevealed?
Still not all my questions are answered.

Ladde,

Contrary to common belief based on earlier versions, Toady has stated that workshops do not currently produce any noise. In fact, he states that "only digging, chopping, making fortifications, engraving walls and removing constructions" will make noise.
Digging or smoothing is generally single time job, your dwarves will get small unhappy though once they will sleep while you are mining/smoothing/etc. and nothing more

I believe that if you completely wall off a cavern it will save a lot of pathfinding.

Not sure if I understand this completely...If your FPS drops in the caverns wall off any unused sections, if that doesn't work go back and dig around them; if you're in a volcano magma should be at the top, if not you can always dig down to the magma sea and pump it up to where you want it or try http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=59894.0

Not sure what changing the temperature on magma would do or why you would want to do it as far as workshops go, but it might cause some problems where magma comes in contact with water. I read somewhere that workshops will still operate off of the magma though.

Having only 1 cavern layer may remove underground crops from your embark screen, I believe it takes after the first but don't quote me on it.

Ah yes, just thought of this, magma with no temperature I believe doesn't create 'warm stone' around it, so your miners will dig right into it with no problem and may drown in it. Or non-temp magma may flood into your fortress with no forewarning.

If I have a gap in my floor to the caverns, but cover it with floor grates, will building destroyers be able to come up into my fort? Or can they still not destroy buildings directly above them without a ramp?

Building destroyers cannot attack buildings that are an a different z-level, so floor grates/hatches are invulnerable from the bottom.
