Poison Gas?

Does anyone know how poison works yet? Because I want to make a Goblin Gas-o-Matic™.

Essentially, it works as a material that causes a disease.  Take a look at the GCS raws, or some of the ones in subterranean_next.

So could I make cinnabar or some other poisonous-IRL rock emit gas when immersed in magma, for example?

If you want something really deadly look at the Giant desert scorpion.

For a gassing chamber you would need a gas filled creature which you cut open via spikes. If you make the gas thought with a ignition temperature similiar to .... well  leave that to your imagination.

So there is no way to have an object or even a creature continually emit poison gas? Kinda disappointed...

You can give them a poison breath attack.

The inability to apply poison templates to ores and non-creature materials is a bit saddening... but with the framework in place, I'm certain it will make its way into the next content release (which might be a lot sooner, or even with a bugfix!)

Can you give a creature a gaseous secretion?  Because having a monster that is perpetually surrounded in toxic gas would be awesome.

I'm hoping to use the poison system to make non-poison special abilities, like creatures emitting gaseous 'terrifying roars' which cause fear, or 'quillstorm' which causes pain.
