It was all "Oh, I don't know how to do something/what something does. To the wiki."

now it's like "I don't know how to do something/what something does. I'm completely boned."

*grins*  Ask here.  Or nearby.  And have a blast checking out other peoples' questions, and offering help/adding your own related ponderings/observations as seems to fit.

Bah, you young kids these days got it easy. Back in my day, we had to learn how to mine up and down! I had to search forever to find a nice long sheer cliff that faced left or else I'd get too confused. Then we had to learn about this damn new fluid stuff as well. Used to be you built the floodgate, pulled the lever and the whole damn world flooded. Now it's barely a trickle.

When I was your age, the wiki was called trial-and-error!

Back in my day, dwarfs had to run uphill both ways to the booze stockpile whilst on fire!

Well, they still do.

I'm learning some things through experimentation, and accident too. For instance, pressure doesn't appear to be working quite the same as it was. I can't really tell you how it is working, just that it's different. I think it's the same but sending the water units 1 by 1, rather than 7 by 7.
