Mayday + new DF?

Possible? If so, how? Will anything be glitched or missing? Save me.

The tilesets for creatures don't work; i think they may be bugged or some information was left out of the files, i can't seem to get any of them to work. However, the fonts which make most everything-except-creatures look pretty work fine, all you need to do is convert the mayday.png(s) (in /data/art) to .bmps with something like IrfanView and update the init.txt file accordingly.

alternatively, if this scares you, just download the working-ish mayday link on the DF wiki.

http://www.mediafire.com/?dyotg3rzgzr is an integrated install with Mayday working. You may need to tweak it to suit, and note that many new job (like physicians) don't have a proper icon yet.

yes the docs look hilarious.  But the creature sets sort of work (for ordinary things)  still a bit buggy, but playable.

Give him time. It just came out today, and I can tell you from experience that you just don't do all the spriting he'd need to do in less than a day, let alone the other stuff he needs to do to make sure it all works properly.

This...I was wondering why there was a purplish gnome running around picking up equipment, and then I discovered it was the doctor. Weird as hell.

I had to switch the graphics from Mayday.bmp to MaydayMIX.bmp, and that seemed to fix all the missing glyphs.

Edit: apparently it's the reloading that fixed the missing glyphs, not the MaydayMIX switch.
