"Rock", by the way, is the generic stone used in the Object Testing Arena.

Yeah, the old way I had the mod working is now no longer supported or a bug happens...    So now I have about 30 reactions to make...

Not sure exactly when I will get around to doing them...

Dude, just use catapults. They give you free siege operator skill and get rid of stone only slightly slower.

I love this. In three pages we've gone from being willing to eat intelligent beings, to trying to make them *more* intelligent, so it will be more fun to eat them.

I have an idea that fixes the "cheese maker" problem...

MAKE THE REACTION PRODUCE CHEESE!

A food source AND a way of getting rid of stone!

But then your replacing 1 object with another object making the whole idea of reducing objects futile to say the least

Cheese can be eaten. Stone can't.

And dorfs like cheese, the same way Rei likes pie. It'll disappear soon enough, and you got some happy dorfs.

You might think about releaseing a version that has a single text file showing the changes and which files they go in. I want to add this to my game but already have a modded version. Now I have to hunt through and compare to make sure I got them all in the entity list. (not that that is a huge problem but it might be for some.)

How would one go about making this workshop require an empty bag and produce generic sand from the stones?

Go into your stocks menu. You'll see a masterwork adamantine sword of some kind. Zoom to its location and you'll be directed to the bottom of the curious structure.

Go now and claim what is rightly yours. And watch out for the zombies.

If you wanted it to produce sand, then let's take this reaction as an example.

[REACTION:MB_DESTROY_STONE_V21]
   [NAME:Destroy JET]
   [BUILDING:MB_STONE_SMASHER:NONE]
   [REAGENT:A:1:BOULDER:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:JET]
   [SKILL:SMELT]

You'll need to add another reagent (the bag).

[REACTION:MB_DESTROY_STONE_V21]
   [NAME:Destroy JET]
   [BUILDING:MB_STONE_SMASHER:NONE]
   [REAGENT:A:1:BOULDER:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:JET]
   [REAGENT:B:1:BOX:NONE:NONE][BAG][EMPTY][PRESERVE_REAGENT]
   [SKILL:SMELT]

Then you'll need to add a product (the sand).

[REACTION:MB_DESTROY_STONE_V21]
   [NAME:Destroy JET]
   [BUILDING:MB_STONE_SMASHER:NONE]
   [REAGENT:A:1:BOULDER:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:JET]
   [REAGENT:B:1:BOX:NONE:NONE][BAG][EMPTY][PRESERVE_REAGENT]
   [PRODUCT:100:1:POWDER_MISC:NONE:INORGANIC:SAND_BLACK][PRODUCT_TO_CONTAINER:B]
   [SKILL:SMELT]

And that's it. Now just add those two lines to all the reactions you want sand from (you could change the sand color too, if you so desired). You won't even need to generate a new world, since you're only editing existing reactions.

Hmm.. you can search for MB since I prefix my reactions and such with MB for compatibility.

I am planning on making a a Uristmod compatible version as well.

Oh and thanks Shukaro. I have been on vacation.
