How did it get 5 pages without someone pointing out that breastplates are better than mail shirts? The area they cover is a little less, but the areas don't hold vitals at all.

Dude, I didn't copy you. I just came back from an adventure where I stumbled on a cave of iron men and got owned by them. I just thought, hey cool I can be iron man, and didn't really read the other entries...

Yup, I was playing the Black Sabbath song as I prepared a battle between 2 50-maul wielding iron men groups with a bronze collosi on each end, armed with clownite.

I had just spent hours in arena mode killing everything to death with a very angry iron man.

Iron Men are hardcore. Lead Mauls are harder.

Anyway, bump my Iron Man up to Accomplished hammerconstruct with those points.

Are competitors allowed to layer armour?

Wearing a breastplate over a chain shirt, for example, or a helm over a leather cap.
