I think the actual april fools day joke is raising all our CPU temps high enough to melt Bauxite. Three hottest machines I've ever seen:

Note that said old laptop ran hotter than a diesel engine without cooling. It lasted 6 years. I think the chips finally just oxidized to the point where they couldn't execute code anymore.

And technically, when I use my handy-dandy car charger, my laptop is a 700 HP diesel laptop.

I'm thinking of building another one using magma lead and hydrochloric acid stored in a hopefully-sealed container for power.

Then I'm going to strap it to my back.
