Worst Dwarf Ever?
« on: April 01, 2010, 04:38:50 pm »

Okay, embark screen, personality check... and this.

Seriously? Old, bald, fat, ugly, slow to heal, wishy-washy, retardated and socially impaired? With no redeeming trait whatsoever?

Did you ever get worse?

Also, could someone draw her :3?

70-ish is average for embark dwarves, it would seem. I, however, have a dwarf that is worthless entirely. In addition to the negative traits of your dwarf, he has is susceptible to disease and a poor ability to manage or understand social relationships.

Oh. What happened to him?

Succumbed to disease while being shunned by the other dwarves?

I tried modding the max age to 300-400, but found all my dwarves were incredibly wrinkly white haired geezers. Further research required.

I should probably have my head checked, because I find myself in complete agreement with Nikov.

I can see this well.

Not the worst dwarf neccessarily, but...

Talk about inconsistent...

It seems every expedition I mount has at least one butt-monkey dwarf with no real redeeming qualities.

You kind of have to wonder A)  Why they would take a stupid, ugly, socially inept, anemic, ADHD sufferer on a trip, and B) How said person survived the trip.

With the way dwarves are now, i'm suprised they can even survive the trip there without summersaulting over to bears and getting mauled.

She once resisted a pump helmet roast, but only because she thought it was much further away than it actually was. Non-euclidean geometry was developed by her, in an attempt to define her own facial features. She once tried to make a friend, by cooking and eating his cat. Occasionally, she'll forget what she was doing, before she's even started. She is... the most worthless expedition leader ever.

That will teach me for not checking profiles before assigning my dwarf's roles.

I'd say it's realism.
