Fucking hell, the game cuts of large portions of shit with Mayday, anyway to fix it?

Start window mode, load game, go full screen, press ok, go window mode again.

It messes back up when I go to windowed mode. However, in fullscreen mode, it looks fine.

Edit: I'm also getting a buttload of unrecognized word tokens and unrecognized creature token erros.

Can someone answer my question on the previous page about enlarging the vanilla graphics? In the arena, there are many creature images showing as blank squares, so I'll just use vanilla for now.

Well I tried going back to ASCII, I mean I used to use it and grew up on ADOM and Angband... But I can't.

Same here man, same here since 6.9.x on Amiga to current one on pc..and i can agree ascii is good for ADOM, but not for DF, imho.

I was looking at the DF thread on /tg/ last night, some people were saying it's a graphic bug. This'll mean that the graphic packs won't work but the straight tile sets might.

- Dwarves seem to be some weird version of the example dwarf version
- Creatures are just ASCII characters

I expect someone else with a bit more know how could make something much better!

upd: 400k errorlog after 3 secs of world generating, but it is not crashing.
Lots of work is still needed. TBH, we just need to wait for d#, that release is not intended to be used with gfx, imho.

Using the madak pack, windowed mode, made the MIX.bmp name change.
Still missing some letters: H E 0(zero) 1  , so far that's all i see but...not having zero or one is uhhhhh....uhhhh... not good.

There's no bug in the graphics system, at least the creatures showing up is not a bug.

Dwarf Fortress now copies the raws into the save folder with each save game (allowing you have each save game use a different mod)

This means that if you start a game and then install a graphics pack afterwards, the raw folder in the save game directory doesn't have the graphics raws. Copy the graphics into the save's raw folder to get the graphics to show up.

I've got it working with no issues. Here's how I did it:

1 - Download the mayday pack. (http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/DF2010:Tileset)
2 - Run the game and gen a new world.
3 - As soon as the world gen is finished, quit DF.
4 - Start DF again and play using the new world.
