I think I might explode from wanting to read peoples stories, but alas, I shall wait for the mac version to test.

EDIT: Wait one minute! This is a april fools release! I KNEW IT!

I discovered something new about aquifers!  On the down side, there's now a cave fish swimming around in the bedrooms.

Nice new site Toady! I think I'll only be tentatively playing the new version until the graphics merge and some bugfixes though :P

It's the real thing man. It's beautiful. I remember hearing that the arena was supposed to be flat and featureless. Was not expecting a pyramid. It is appreciated.

Awesome job.  Thank you for your continued work on this.

A question for everyone.   Should we expect any of the replacement tilesets to work?   I'm playing around with one but cannot seem to get anything more than a blank screen.

Yawn, that took 5 minutes to get over, games still fundamentally unplayable just with more unplayable features.  I'll drop back in in another year to see if theirs a usable UI, at least minimal graphics or if any of the top Eternal Suggestions are addressed.  Though I honestly have little hope that this will ever be playable, this is a game I've always wanted to like but its simply driven me away repeatedly.

It doesn't work. I get the same error that I did with graphics compression on...but it's not on. And the 40d# releases work fine....

Sir toady, if your ego hasn't yet swollen to epic proportions, you should make it do so now.

The megabeasts! They live! Worldgen actually got through all 1050 years and remained in the age of myth! My next task: Reduce it to the age of legends. With one dwarf.

Everyone ignore the madman above me two three four above me. Nothing to see there. (wow, lots of posts every few seconds)

Today is the first day of my two week holiday from school, (extended Easter)

And now this has happened.

Then everything near it exploded in a cloud of blood.
