Oh I guess it hasn't been released yet. I guess we should stop spamming this thread though >_>

You can send mail in-game from these big red floaty diamond things, contacting metalx would probably work, but I should double-check that for you. Or you can send it to one of my characters, Necrocide or Vashress and I can pass on your character's name. I do not believe that I have the authority to personally invite you into the guild.

Amongst the most active characters on the guild are:

Leaders:
 Metalax
Officers:
 Metalaxs
 Lothia
 Metalia
 Metalfoot
 Naivuud
 Duuvian
Members:
 Vashress
 Necrocide

Contacting one of the officers while they are on would probably be best. Or just send mail to the leader.

Posting your character's name here would also work...

I used to play DDO awhile ago, I never got very far though. I'll probably start playing again, who should I try to contact in-game to get in the guild? (I hope it doesn't matter that my surname isn't McDwarf)

I've sent a guild invite to your mail. character - Gedin, right? And yeah no problems with surnames  ;)

I've promoted your two chars up to officer so you can recruit as well.

And guild invite sent to you as well in the mail. If you are not out of the snowy side of Korthos yet, just send a tell to one of the people on the list above when they are online and they can invite you directly.

We have guild level 21 and a Denieth agent hiding in our hold. They are probably either a spy or a stowaway, either way you should regularly beat the magic out of them...

Delera's tomb will apparently be half price tomorrow, might be cheap enough to get for free...

Last I checked the Guild was still level 23, 25 is a big milestone with many important features, such as a guild chest and dwarven buffbot.

Is anyone here still active? I'd like to join the guild, if you'll have me. I created a dorf Fighter on Sarlona named Kadzar McDwarf.

I can log in and invite you. It wasn't very active but the guild is about level 26ish last I checked.

Also, since you can make two characters on a server, you can mail semi-junk back and forth between them, and the mail system holds the items for like 3 weeks IF you don't open the message. This is pretty useful as inventory space is quite limited before you earn the favor for more inventory and bank slots, and it's still useful afterwards like for those extremely powerful holiday cookies that you know would be cool to use in 6 months but the cookie jar container to hold the stacks costs real money.

Also, take whatever you want out of the guild chest, since that means I can dump more crap into it.

I play the game occasionally.

I'd need to remember my pasword though. And the controls...

The invite should be in your mailbox Kadzar.

I play once in a while too Wolf.

One thing though is that you'll notice is that there is a 100 point DDO store bonus for the first time you get a character to 100 prestige on a server. This means that people often will jump servers to play the low level adventures to collect that easy prestige once they start reaching the point where there is more paid content than free stuff (around level 10 I would say) although since the last update there are more free ones (and good ones) for that level range. There are often specials on adventure packs so that few hundred can make a difference since each adventure allows more prestige. For every 100 prestige you gain on a character, you get 25 store points basically, with the first 100 on a character on a server adding 100 store points which can be earned once per server as far as I know.

A quick tip: if you are grouped with people with a large number next to guild name, don't be afraid to stand at the entrance of the airship and ask for an airship invite to use their buff stations if everyone is standing around waiting anyways. The biggest airships are very large and make a very noticeable difference.

Also, the last time I played a nice person I don't know bought a guest pass for me, so I could go on one of the early pay to play series (and we did it on Elite to boot) Other than that I managed to scrape up enough points to get Delera's Tomb when it was on sale.

The final thing is that someone told me that even the cheapest point deal at 6$ unlocks the other character slots on a server and auctioneer allows more than one posting. I've been considering it for a while for the fact that this would reduce inventory hassle nearly permanently; but I'm still undecided.

They sometimes have sales on turbine points, so waiting can be beneficial, but you may miss out on other sales, not that those have been very attractive lately. I have seen some pretty nice things for 50% off if you don't mind waiting for ages...

A new update just came out with an interesting feature. An Officer can usurp leadership of a guild if the leader has been inactive for a certain period of time. Our little fortress qualifies. Thoughts?

Rise thread, for there is news! (if there was a newer thread sorry, but this came up in the search first)
First of all, the Expansion, Menace of the Underdark, has been released, with all of the stuff it entails.
Second of all, DDO is on Steam now.
Third of all and lastly, this thread was dead for quite awhile, is the guild as dead as it as well?

Well, I'm on Sarlona as Aklyon the Artificer if anyone wants to play around with me (or be someone for me to stand behind so I can keep shooting, both are good.)

Oh, I played this for a while. never got very far. I think the Artificers look sooooo cool... Steampunk mad scientists with arm cannons? Yes please. Pity they have to be bought, I wonder how long it takes to scrape those points up...
