Wow, are people actually playing again? Kind of too bad my account was deleted. Not sure I'd want to start over.

Whether or not you guys start a new thread, keep us updated. If there are people who will actually play actively, I might play again. Probably a few others feel the same way.

You may want to check that as your character is definitely still there in the guild in game.

I'm running The Pits quest. If you ever get a chance, do it. Its more dangerous then Boatmurdered, and thats after you kill everything.

I'm still running semi regularly. Currently have a level 13 fighter, would be higher but I've been soloing through much under level quests for favour, which results in little xp.

The guild still exists on Sarlona currently at guild level 9, though rather empty as all chars that had been inactive for more than a couple of months had been kicked when the guild renown system came in. Anyone wanting to join/rejoin just send me a tell or mail in-game to Metalax or post here with your char name.

I think i will do just that.will send you an in game mail when it's done re-downloading.I remember it being pretty fun,it definitely started to become impossible to really solo things at a certain point though, without spending a bunch of money on extra hirelings and healing and such.

I played for the first time last night. I ended up sleeping at 3:30am.  :P

I play in Orien server. I hope you are all in that server as well!

My first character is intended to do Favor Grind so I can get that 32 attribute points when starting new characters.

Name: Elsior
Race: Female Elf (so I do not have to be looking at a guy's rear end)
Class: Fighter 2 (planning to go pure Fighter, not that it matters since she will be deleted once I have enough Favor)
Style: Two-weapon fighting (going for DPS instead of tanking)

I've done all the quests in Korthos Island, but have not gone elsewhere.

Once I have enough Favor to get 32 attribute points, I plan on rolling a Paladin!

EDIT: I just noticed Sarlona server was the server of choice. I don't mind starting over in that server. Might go for an Orc Barbarian this time.

Yep that's happened more than once for me as well ;-)

I play in Orien server. I hope you are all in that server as well!

I think I've got a char on Orien back from when I needed to quickly get some TP's from the server favour bonuses in order to pick up warforged while they were on sale. So I can join you over there.

You have multiple char slots(2 as a free player and 4 if you ever purchase any points for the store, and additional char slots go on sale every couple of months or so) so I would recommend keeping your favour char around. Let them be used as a pack mule while not in use, via either the shared bank or using mail to post items between chars. You can keep going for the favoured soul at 2500 and whatever future unlock they will put in at 5000. There was a post from one of the devs a month or so back that suggested that they were looking at rebalancing favour rewards and unlocks as many of them were designed back when the game had a much lower level cap, so it might be a good idea to keep a full favour char around for that.

Also the lesser and greater hearts of wood needed for resurrection are supposed to start dropping as loot following the upcoming update so you could use a greater resurrection on your favour char to boost them to 32 points after you unlock it without loosing the accumulated favour.

I've done all the quests in Korthos Island, but have not gone elsewhere.

Don't forget to head for the Marketplace once your in the Harbour of Stormreach for the actual shops. Of particular note are the potions shop and the item vendors where you can sell items of the correct type for more than at the general shops. Also good places to check for low level equipment people wont bother putting on the auction house. If looking for equipment in a vendor remember that the vendor in each instance of the market has a separate list of items so you will want to check through each instance.

Once I have enough Favor to get 32 attribute points, I plan on rolling a Paladin!

EDIT: I just noticed Sarlona server was the server of choice. I don't mind starting over in that server. Might go for an Orc Barbarian this time.

I'm happy to play on any server, although sarlona may be slightly easier as we already have the guild set up.

id refer to stay on sarlona, have unlocked a few things there and its where everything's set up.
that said,if you come over to sarlona,id be more than happy to help you level, etcetera.
Add fenrisulf/halvardr to friends list,i should be online.sent a mail to metalax so should be back in guild in a bit here.

the guild renown system is pretty cool.i like how you get a pretty big boost to the xp gain if you have a small guild. with update 7 coming in a few days the game looks promising. my current characters are a level 8 barbarian and a level 6 monk.have two others but, going to delete them, make something new.
Good luck,in whatever server you choose.

If you have any questions with the mechanics of the game, let me know,i spent about twice the time looking up things in the forums and studying the inner workings, planning out characters, than i actually spent playing the game, before i quit last time. :p
