the comments about the high level raid guilds are quite true, and they way you guys are playing you wont get there....and so what?

Play hard, makes mistakes, take your time in dungeons, and enjoy the game. It really is a very fun MMO if you dont get caught up in the min-maxing BS. I have been playing off and on since beta. Yes I do get bored but I do come back now and then.

bravo to the DFC for the jiggy dance. I have a nasty little dwarf duel wielder...

I'm surprised at how well they modeled blocking with a shield. Instead of just a constant AC bonus, you also get damage reduction while blocking, and you can't move very quickly.

I just wish you could use a shield and crossbow simultaneously, so that I could be my own shotgun phalanx.

There just has to be a way to make crossbowdwarves overpowered in DandD, there just has to... *doesn't really believe that crossbows work as anything other than a toy for wizards who run out of spells*

They can get pretty awesome if you have the high ground.

My fighter has hit somewhat of a snag. I can't find the second control sigil at Misery Peaks. I'll have to try again tomorrow, cuz now is nighty night time.

They're in the rooms that branch off the edges of the main cavern.

Are there repeating crossbows? I think they're the only thing that could model a DF crossbow.

Yes. Two Varieties of them, though I can't name them off the top of my head.

Was just thinking about what feats you'd need to become a supreme crossbowdwarf, and here's what I came up with for a fighter.

In no particular order.

Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, Rapid Reload, Precise Shot, Improved Precise Shot, Dodge, Mobility, Shot on the Run, Weapon Focus(Ranged), Weapon Specialization(Ranged), Greater Weapon Focus(Ranged), Greater Weapon Specialization(Ranged), Superior Weapon Focus(Ranged), Improved Critical: Ranged, Power Critical.

This all gives you:
+3(+4) attack +4(+5) damage (under 30 feet) Fast firing, firing while moving, shots damaging all enemies in path, improved rate of successful criticals.

Leaving 3 more feats free. Should also do this after true reincarnating from a ranger to get Past Life : Ranger, for another +2 damage and also from a fighter to get Past Life : Fighter, for +1 attack. If I'm reading the descriptions correctly each of the past life feats stacks up to three times, in which case the crossbowdwarf should come as the seventh incarnation. This of course requires reaching level 20 six times before so it will take quite some time. Past Life : Monk doesn't say if it effects ranged damage but if it does that would be another to add.

Haven't particularly looked at enhancements for it but the fighter Kensai series should probably be part of it, for improved attack, damage and criticals, as well as the fighter capstone enhancement for faster attacks.

I think the group needs another rogue, as AFAIK I'm the only one. I'll probably be back on again in a few days as I'm currently in DF mode.

This game is addicting  :P :P. I'm apparantly doing pretty well for myself both in gear for my level and my level for my play time.

Well fuck it, what class(s) do you need? I will play this again.... hehe. I ended up deleting all my characters when I last quit because prices went up really high, and I really needed cash on the server I was playing.

EDIT: I have decided on a cleric for now until I unlock 32 point builds. Do you guys want a healbot, a DD, or a mix between the two (Think a jack of all trades that can fire off a heal if need be, can buff if you have a healbot or another healer, but is conservative in mana use and can take a few hits)

I rerolled my character after reading the wiki a bit more.

Would someone add "Zalstom McDwarf" back into the guild please?

Thanks.

Please add Realan McDwarf to the guild.... thanks.

EDIT: I'm sort of one of those people that can't enjoy my character unless it is "perfect". I could care less if I fuck up a couple of things, but trying to play a healbot using a DD character is.... not fun. I went and generalized so if someone needs damage, I'm in. If someone needs heals, I'm in. Win win situation. Once I get a 32 point build, I will know what the guild needs character wise and 32 point it.
