well.. basically the place where you select (tamed) animals to be chopped up... so you won't accidentally culled 1 gender off leaving the others sitting around not reproducing.

especially useful when you caged all of them together in the same cage... u - c only show 1 single animal in the cage instead of allowing you to cycle through it

perhaps gender should be shown in the caging screen as well

I'd thought of suggesting the same thing.  Plus that way if you want to breed more animals you slaughter males rather than females, or if you want population growth to slow down you slaughter more females than males.

talking about slaughtering.. any idea why dwarves get sad when slaughtering meat animal? i can understand if it's a pet or what not..

maybe there should be a room for animal husbandry (like farm plots)
