Such a thing demands ludicrously high miss chances.

Yes, but you would get the A Team van. When you run out of bullets, we'd take cover in a building after crashing the van through, then sealing up the hole

10 minutes later, after many loud sounds of construction, we'd bust out with the van again, only this time we modified it with the stuff we found, got new ammo, and now get ridiculous high hit chances.

On a side note, will we be doing any games soon? I dont see any listed as coming up in the steam group, and neither on this thread...

I've temporarily postponed working on AFMBE while I see what Aqizzar is doing, just in case he breaks one out.

Don't you postpone a goddamn thing.  I'm only contemplating the idea because I thought you weren't going to do it, so we're supposed to be racing each other to the launch, not waiting for each other to move.  More importantly, I'd honestly rather play AFMBE than GM it.

Which leads me to my new proposition.  Round Robin Gamemastery.  One game with everyone in it, one character to a player.  Every session, a different player takes over as GM.  You don't have to GM ever if you're not up to it, just as long as it keeps moving.  Or until we decide by group-think that one person is better at it than everyone.  That way, everyone has a chance to be prey instead of predator, and we don't have to rely entirely on one person to stay responsible for everything.  Also, a good incentive to not try to kill each other as a player or the whole party as the GM, because turn-about is always fair play.

Yeah, that could be cool, because I would also rather be a player than GM.

This seems like a nice idea, but my question is would the old GM take over the new GM's character, or would a new one be introduced?

Neither.  Every player gets a character.  When you're GM, your character is still in the game, with you playing alongside the group.  That's your incentive to not be a dick, or reward yourself or whatever, because everybody else gets the same chance.

It does raise the question of how to replace dead characters.  Which is especially incompatible with my "players as characters" idea.  Possible plan: your starting character should be yourself, as that much more incentive to not fuck up.  If "you" die, then you get to play on with made-up peeps, or a zombified version of yourself, or something.

I dunno, DMing can be pretty taxing, doubly so if you also have a character, plus it's very easy to Sue it up if there's a DMPC.

Fine, whatever, we'll do it the easy way.  I'm be the damn Game Master, you'll all be norms, and I'll subject you to corpse-ass in the face.  I'll need some free time to cook up a setting and so forth (you might as well start pitchin' now), but I could run a quick and easy practice game on Friday or Saturday, to get a feel for the hosting and so forth.  Who's in?

Same. Evenings work for me. Since its a quick and easy practice game, I'd say either classic mall scenario, or...Zombies on a Plane

Are we self-inserting?  I wont' use my real name, but I'll use some silly variation on it.

Aww man, my guy is going to be awesome. Nerdy redneck with diagnosed mental illnesses? Hell to the yeah.

Also, setting: Stereotypical factory town with a port. Blast furnaces and steel mills, manufacturing lines and cranes, docks and boats and warehouses by the piers.
