Count me in for something. AFMBE looks very interesting. I downloaded everything, joined the steam group and am good to go.

Aww man, the Steam aspect is gonna suck. My account has been frozen for a while because my brother forgot his password while he was off at college after giving me the account, tried to change his password, then didn't have enough info to do so thoroughly.

Alright, it's time to kick this into gear.  I'm hereby proffering my willingness to Game Master something on Fridays or Saturdays.  It would have to be GURPS or All Flesh Must Be Eaten (they're quite similar in function), and anybody signing up should go in know that they are guinea pigs, because I've never game mastered anything before, and have very little experience with most of the game-hosting programs.  But we can work through that together.

Of course, if any of the other ongoing games wind up going on the same time anyway, I'll probably be there glomming onto better games run by people who know what they're doing.  This great experiment just seems to have petered out really fast given all the enthusiasm and expertise.

That's cool.  If you do AFMBE I might instead do a D&D campaign to replace Reasonable's (4e though.  Like it or suck it).  I'm not good at all kinds of intrigue and stuff so it will be a heavily action-oriented campaign, if that's no one's cuppatea I might just see what Aqizzar's doing with AFMBE, or play a game instead of DMing (I know, perish the thought, I was chosen for the Holy Duty)

Yeah, I could probably use your help as a coach, since I don't really know what I'm doing.  As much as I love the ethos of Call of Cthulhu and Dark Heresy (I was contemplating a DH game more than a year ago), I just don't have the natural guile to devise plots and mysteries.  The straightforward, kill-or-be-killed action of AFMBE (or a Conan-ripoff GURPS hack'm'slash'm) would be more my speed.  At least until I know what I'm doing.

http://www.maidrpg.com/

I am amused by the availability of a market capable of selling a roleplaying game where you play a maid.

EDIT: Stupid Grake is stupid for answering a post on page 3.

AFMBE is fun and interesting, but it lacks something very important. That being a way for zombies to strike you. There is no grappling mechanics (at least that I found), so it's impossible for Zombies to grab you and bite. And I'm not interested in letting my players get bitten over and over again by zombies with a horrible infection. Imba game where you lose if an enemy ever succeeds on a roll is imba.

That's how I work too.  A Swords and Sorcery-type game would be cool, but I'm a huge 4rry, and 4e's weeaboo fightan magic doesn't mesh well with that genre.

I have an idea for a AFMBE game, and can sum it up in three words

It requires that you roll a d100 against your skills and succeed 3 times in a row in order to hit.
