I'm a Survivor bizatch.

You'll take your Normie and you'll like him.

Anyway, I might not be on Friday, but almost certainly Saturday is good.  I'm liking the idea of a zombie outbreak on a plane for the test game.  Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no handy guns, in a terminal dive.

The movie is supposed to be a spoof of Snakes on a Plane. They even have the High Mile club scene, but with zombies!

Anyways, will we our character gen when we start, or beforehand?

I'm playing Monster Hunter, and I thought of something cool.  Generic fantasy kingdom, cool and all, yeah.  Apocalypse.  Now the world is back to BC era technology, and fantasy ruins are scattered around.  Those ruins are where the world gets its magic.  I realize that once I thought about it it became tangentially related to Monster Hunter at best, but it'd still be a cool setting, and you wouldn't have to suspend disbelief as much.  Traditional Fantasy Settings have this weird thing going on where they take Dark Ages government and social systems and stick them in a bronze age world (90% of the world is wilderness, players can get away with genocidal acts against sentient creatures, goblins and orcs can slaughter towns without large-scale organized retaliation, all that).  This would solve that problem.  It'd be cool.

I don't want to clog up the thread with a lot of back and forth over character creation.  Since AFMBE is all point-buy and nonrandom, I suggest you make a Norm character by yourself, and just have it ready for whenever we start.  Don't bother posting it here, we can do it all in realtime later.

I'm very much liking this idea.  My Conan-esque GURPS campaign idea could have done that, or combine it, or something.  We'll compared notes sometime, after I learn what Monster Hunter is all about.

I don't have any games on my account, and was informed elsewhere that I'd need invited because of that. I'll check and try to join.

No, Janet and Drone made it a locked group after some trolls fucked with them.  It's invite only now.

It was just someone I utterly hated that joined. And I didn't want him there.

Don't worry it's no one you guys know.

Real life stalkery dude or other on-line community? One of them can be solved with pepper spray, the other not so much. Also dear god your avatar moves so much it is seizure-tastic when you see it out of the corner of your eye.

How about we stop asking her about whatever it was?

Anyway, could, maybe, do trial AFMBE tonight, although I don't know exactly when.  I'll be on Steam at any rate.  I don't know what program would be good to use, but Gametable looks reasonable (which if you've bothered to read the thread at all, you already have).  Have Normie characters ready if you want, or slap them together when we start, if we start.

I would suggest keeping the decent approximation of you in your pocket for now.  This is the experimental game, the one where I learn how to actually play AFMBE... wounding rules and all.

You're probably going to die, is what I'm saying.
