if I have two levels

-|               |----
-___________-----

with a bridge on the first level, if the bridge is down, do the tiles in the center count as indoor tiles, if the bridge is up, does that count as outdoor tiles?  I am trying to creat a hallway that I can cause dwarfs to think they are outdoors and thus no go out doors (if i put this near my entrance it works to keep people indoors during a seige)

From the description of the event, I think that your copy of Dwarf Fortress was on drugs when this happened. That's surely the only logical explanation for a human werewolf with deadly farts dying from it's own excrement after slaughtering some goblins comrades.

Yes that will make the tiles inside, in fact your plan would work perfectly if it wasn't for one tiny little issue, the stay inside order doesn't use the inside tags on tiles but rather the subterranean tag.

ok one massively walled off out door, with a civilan safe combate chamber comming up, just need to enlist 8 or so dwarfs into masons guild to get it done already am getting sieges
