You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Text:

Slick pilots the Jefferson twoards Gamelon. He seems to be upset about something, maybe he needs someone to talk to?

The ship flies at extreme speed to it's target. The new seats are still ludicrously comfortable.

Suddenly, a missile strikes the ship! It catches on fire...
C-Roll(Explosive): 3
Ultravans tend to get rather messed up when hit with explosives. Luckily, the Jefferson's frame holds together.
C-Roll(Flame): 3
An outside armor panel (designed expressly for the purpose of reducing the flame effect explosives have on Ultravans) catches on fire. Right on cue, the fire supression system begins zapping the burning components. The flames go out without doing any damage.

The ship begins to quiver and shake from the impact and explosion. Slick can't steer the ship, it's going to hit the ground. Of course, the impact will not matter in the slightest because the Jefferson was made by TOAST Industries.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Hey, I posted an action. It was rather boring this turn, but it was an action...
get on the ship.

Anyway, I fly out of the ship and search for the source of the missile.

Hopefully it will describe what it does, too. And if not, I can always use it and see...

Use manual controls to pull us out of this dive!

You're not really in a dive, Slick just can't steer. You'll just fall to the ground and bounce once, leaving the crew unharmed (especially if they're sitting down).

Spaceships...bounce?

I'll still turn controls over to manual, and begin to pilot us down safely.

Spaceships...bounce?

This one does. It's based on the TOAST Industries Ultravan, remember?  It'll just land on all four wheels and the suspension will absorb all the shock of the fall.

Post.
An.
Action.

Actually, don't. I can guess what it is. "PROCEED TO TEH NEXT OBJECTIVE AHUHUHUH". Yeah, that's mostly my fault. Doesn't make it any less annoying.
I'm going to go and read Multiworld Madness to see what I'm doing wrong.

Well, if you want some advice, I have only this to offer:

Travel is the bane of any RTD, especially without a clear objective.  Multiworld madness gets around this by frequently interrupting travel with clear enemies to fight (partially self-inflicted), and by making it take an obscene number of actions to get anywhere.  In reality, in multiworld we've traveled what, to the (still relatively) local tower and back, and a few miles out in the desert.  Also, a sense of urgency is required; world #2 in MM had a time limit which pressed players forward.  In world number 3, we've seen a stagnation somewhat similar to what we have here.  Instantaneous transportation is sometimes better, but still requires a continuous flow of challenges to keep up the pace.

Also, the plotline of "shuffle to one place, kill boss, shuffle to next place, kill boss" just doesn't really work out.  That's just a stream of boss fights, which can be exciting, but are also fairly repetitious.  There need to be mooks; lots of mooks, constantly pushing the players forward.
