You do realize that there is only one hydralisk, right?

And he's probably too far gone to be controlled... Assuming that he survives the wrath of the Protoss :P. He'd be pretty useless either way, especially compared to the drones you already have.

Ah, the problem was that it was still plural in Typoman's report.

So, the god-AIs are being killed by something, likely the source of the corruption.

Yeah, Squirtle would probably be more appropriate for your summoning level. Yanno... "So I Herd U Liek Mudkips"... Plus the Squirtle in SSBB has Water Gun, which would probably be the best at extinguishing flame...

Okaaay. Time to do some research!

Try to find the head honcho here, and ask him what he knows about the corruption.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Dragnar: 5

You point your rocket foot at the remaining hydralisk and fire. Roll to attack: 5! Roll to dodge: 5.
The Hydralisk effortlessly evades your rocket blast. No doubt it would have killed him instantly, but that attack isn't very effective aiming-wise.

Also, water and goo. EEEEWWWWWWW

Frelock: 6

You decide to whittle some Hydralisk into goo, which Typoman absorbs.

Typoman: 4

You effortlessly bend the energy streams and call upon Squirtle. He uses Water Gun to put out the flames. Dragnar avoids getting wet as best he can.
The Hydralisk suddenly turns into goo, no doubt due to the efforts of Frelock. As before, you absorb the raw organic material. You develop a permanent channel, leading down your arm and into your palm. You should be able to pump energy directly through this conduit. You're not totally sure what the practical applications of this are.
Roll to spot: 4!
You notice that if you hold your SDW-120 in the hand with the channel, it's eyes light up. Hmm...

Qwertyuiopas: 6

You begin scripting. Analyzing the entire scape of the simulated universe is simply impossible with the scriptgun, but you manage to code in the capability to pin down the location of corrupted entities to a 50 meter radius, within a 300 meter radius around the scriptgun. It can also give readouts on the activity levels of the god-AIs. They're very, very low.
You are tired out by the effort (-1 to next action).

Tehstefan: 5

You ask NUKM how you would get in contact with the commanding officer of the base. He explains that base operations are usually controlled by computer, with human commanders commanding multiple bases and only showing up when nessescary.
He hooks you up with the base control computer.
Command: "Command unit TOASTCMD-KRDI. What do you want."
Tehstefan: "I am Captain Tehstefan of the Starship Jefferson. I need information about the corruption that is threatening the universe and our mission."
Command: "Apologies Captain. Information above your security level."
NUKM: "NUKM-4. Override."
Command: "Override acknowledged."
Command: "Your mission is to eliminate the corrupting influence on the universe. The corruption is channeling itself through entities it has effected."
Command: "The power of the regulatory systems, "god-AIs", is greatly weakened by the presence of these corrupted entities."
Command: "These corrupted entities display very odd properties. It appears that the majority of their data links to a central entity. It could be said that the corrupted entities are "different faces of the same thing"."
Command: "The power of the god-AIs is definitely waning. Currently, they are mostly shut down existing only as unexecuting data. Adalf has decided to encrypt and store copies of all of the AIs in offline storage, only able to be accessed by physically reconnecting the data store as well as reconfiguring the software component of the network interface."
COmmand: "This indicates two things, [DATA EXPUNGED] and that Adalf is probably aware of these facts, if not in direct communication with [DATA EXPUNGED] (as he is known to be talkative, expecially with enemies he finds "worthy")."
NUKM: "NUKM-4. Override!"
Command: "NUKM-4; override rejected."
NUKM: "WHAT."
Command: "Security level [DATA EXPUNGED] required for access."
NUKM: "... That pisses me off."
NUKM: "That's not normal. I should have full access to the database."

Well, that's interesting. I ask questions as to what information is known about dealing with the creatures, any weak points, strong points, anything that might be of use in attacking, or fighting the things.

I ask the TOAST command computer what TOAST stands for, and also if it would be possible to gain control of a robot or something in reality.

It doesn't stand for anything. Also, there's a reason the offline storage is offline- so it can't be erased.
