Okay, it seems every  world I make has no quests in it. I just made a new one, and I've been going around and talking to every weapon master I see (I'm a human) and it seems like this is some hippy socialist utopia where there's no problems at all. This has happened in every world I've created--10 in all--and I seriously wanna actually take a quest.What can I do? Should I alter some of the settings when making a new world?

Or should I just become an Insane psychopath and kill every living thing I see?

Stop world gen early. There should be plenty of megabeasts then.

If you want to have lots of quests in adventure mode, when you gen a world, make sure there are LOTS of mountain caves in the world gen params.  Also, as previously stated, don't gen past about year 50.  After that most of the glory and gory has already passed.

Hehe, made a new world and stopped at year 53, and get a quest with the first person I talked to.

i had to fight an ettin in a cave. i died.

you could try to 'make' one by attacking a town bail then retire in a another town.
get a another adventure and fight your self. better when you make a huge fort filled with goblins that follow your evil adventurer(local dark fort or ask a band of goblins to join or S(t)eal), more fun is to have the evil character if a female give birth to a dragon/demon(lots more modding).

but that's complicated.
