Though it is easy to say that nothing with 0 votes will win at this point, people can always change their votes, and in the early stages something could easily see zero a couple of times before eventually winning...

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Code: [Select]

[6-0] Electronics and wiring
[6-0] Circuitry
[5-0] Sheet metal thin enough to be worked easily  (This is a necessity)
[4-0] Metalworking tools
[4-0] Motors
[4-0] Heavy cables
[3-2] Glass panels
[1-2] The other Mad scientist that got here first
[1-3] Hood ornaments

You missed a vote on sheet metal.  Also, wiring was on there twice, and I think we can safely call engines and motors the same thing.

Engines produce power and motors produce motion, or am I thinking of generators, meh, I forget the terms, but personally I am not a fan of experimenting with internal combustion in an enclosed space that we do not want to attract attention to. Looking at the votes I would say that car engines were thoroughly voted down, while air-conditioning motors received a significant amount of support.

I bet we could find a use for axle joints if we come back...

Besides the fact that carrying a car engine would seriously hurt in the back.

Toaster please do not add extra vote since people who use infinite and Duh in there posts do not count for that option.

I think 'infinite' and 'duh' both indicate a desire to vote, though they did fail to use the proper format...

Which as consequence that mean that their vote don't count, though they can revote properly themself later.

I think we put in infinity and duh because we NEED sheet metal and it really doesn't need to be voted for.  We can keep our eyes peeled for more than one thing at a time after all.  We are a genius.  It's kinda like asking "Hey guys should we Breathe air and look out for phat lewt, or should we just keep a look out for more phat lewt of which some might not be present or useful right now?"  That's just my opinion on it all.  Let's just get on with the game.

You may think that but might other who don't thinks and want to vote against it but by put words or infinite instand of numbers it messed it up because if thinking everyone should vote for it. that there person thought are vote against option because disagree with it , so please be mindful next time before you do something like that.

This.

The list is for determining what will be considered most important. Voting properly isn't that hard to figure out.

Furthermore, dicking with the voting system slows updates and I probably would have done one now or yesterday instead of telling people to quit cocking up the voting system.

People can't just say "Sheet metal is a necessity, we have to go for it, give it infinity-plus-one votes." You might want to do that but others might want to do something like continued experimentation on the mouse or whatever that doesn't require it. No action is a given. Don't assume it is.
