It's a defensive measure, not an offensive one. We'll only use it as a last line of defence against people stealing our stuff. As for how cheap - we'll let our GM define that. He's the one making our world, after all.

And yeah, you see it on labels all the time - "don't inhale vapors", "avoid contact with open skin", etc. Mix enough together and you get something dangerous. A tiny capsule that explodes into vapor, or worse yet, injects stuff into the bloodstream, could very much be very deadly.

After all, its not like this can be traced back to us and end up with us in prison, right? And it's not like it can go wrong and kill us, right? And there isn't any other safer options that can be done without killing someone, right?

It doesn't have to be instantly lethal though. My version is like a big blunt stick - simple and, well, blunt. We could spend some time and work out a temporary paralysis poison, or one that causes excruciating pain, or one that does both. Quite enough of a deterrent I think, and not too dangerous if we get hit by it.

And there's always an "instill fear" option. Make a big, menacing robot mockup that rises up and threateningly turns to face anyone in range, swiveling large rotating gattling gun mockups with laser pointers to aim at the target's head. And it has to have glowing red eyes, and can also proclaim "HALT! WHO GOES THERE!" in a monotone robotic voice as it does the above. Position it right beyond our door, or right next to it once it actually has something to defend with. It'll likely scare any interlopers shitless.

What if we mix the Clockstop with chemical crap like [Brand name removed]-Cola? I mean, it might react, so we'd have to test it on a rat first, but if it doesn't react, we have clockstop in a sweet package - and they won't figure out the chemicals in THAT stuff.

Well, there are no side-effects we know of apart from the annoyance of trying to move while under it's effects, so what's the problem? Though the military might try to confiscate all of it...
