Make it so it doesn't get stolen. Graft it into your chest, like an Arc Reactor, and keep it concealed. Develop a habit of doing something inconspicuous before entering the lab, to make any hidden observers believe that's what is needed to gain free access.

Brilliant! And then it gets stolen...

We can set it to (take a blood sample when it's put on,) inject(ing) a deadly neurotoxin into the wearer when put on (if it's not our blood). We'd have an nullifying agent in our blood, of course.

In fact, we should have everything we own inject a deadly neurotoxin into thieves. No, wait, even better: Mind control drugs. When people steal from us, they become our willing test subjects for new chemicals.

We're a mad misunderstood SCIENCEtist with an eventual far-away goal of gaining control of the world, or a significant chunk of it. There's hardly such a thing for us as planning TOO far ahead.

Design the Flood, with us as the Gravemind. That is our goal. In my humble opinion.

Yeah but we do not have the resources to make mind control drugs and neurotoxins, so I find making plans with them rather pointless right now.

Making neurotoxins is hardly difficult. Just take any industrial insecticide and mix it with something nasty like chlorine, or some other things. Should be potent enough to kill. Mind control drugs will require experimentation, but nothing out of our reach.

And surely making an automated defence system is within our reach. Something as simple as a sentry turret with a voice key will provide adequate protection of our lab until we craft something more advanced, like a Superpowered Robot Meter Maid.

Now explain how we can get the insecticide and chlorine.

Shopping? Dunno about USA, but insecticides and basic chemicals like chlorine are rather widely available here.

We don't need enough toxin to coat a city, you know. We need a pint, tops.

And therefore we should sell clockstop! Though It might be wise to only sell diluted doses, so the military we sell it to doesn't find out what it can really do.

How much would it cost to get the stuff? Unless it is really cheap, I do not want to cut into our food fund. Unless you can find a way to make money off of it.

And I am questioning the logic behind using a neurotoxin.

It would be 10$ MAX to make some pretty deadly poisons from ordinary household items.

It's a defensive measure, not an offensive one. We'll only use it as a last line of defence against people stealing our stuff. As for how cheap - we'll let our GM define that. He's the one making our world, after all. ;)

And yeah, you see it on labels all the time - "don't inhale vapors", "avoid contact with open skin", etc. Mix enough together and you get something dangerous. A tiny capsule that explodes into vapor, or worse yet, injects stuff into the bloodstream, could very much be very deadly.
