I vote that we study-up our skills while waiting to catch a rat to experiment on.

Vote Count:

  • (1x) Program Slaves to Armok then Dwarf Fortress

Whats all the fuss about experimenting on rats, we live in a basement with everyone except Jason avoiding us, i don't think anyone will mind a few rats, plus if we catch enough we can breed them so no further impact on outside rat population will be made.
Another idea has struck me about employment, we now sciency stuff, we could work in a school, think about it, if we could act it nicely enough to get a biology/informatics/chemistry teaching job at a school we would get money, free lab equipment and a possible way to recruit minions(mold the human brain while it's young and all that).

Gentlemen. We will need to study the rat, no matter what we want to do with it. We don't want it running away through a carelessly left-open door, or screw our other inventions or drink random chemicals. We need a cage. I think, cutting a tin plate in half to create two triangles, drilling holes in the triangles near the sides, and pulling now abundant copper wire through the holes to create a barrier, will do as a cage. Maybe use a metal bar to keep the plates apart. Or if we decide not to make a cage, I agree with the roguelike.

Hmmm could we rig up a remote control lawnmower with that propeller?

We could use it to mow lawns for extra cash while we rob the homes of the lawns we are mowing.

I still say DF is the most powerful MIND CONTROL device possible, and even if it doesn't require much skill at the beginning, it will level us up quickly. Besides, LOYALTY requires a hook, and DF is that hook!
