Go to any junkyard and 'scout' as in not hurting our pride just looking for any good matierals if there are any good materials then at night we break in and steal them.

How far away is the nearest military junkyard? Those places are the best. Is there a military base in the town? (Then there's a miltary junkyard!)

Also, find some local businesses, especially tech businesses. Start making it a regular activity to dive their dumpsters.

Regular activities aren't until later; you won't be automating large-scale processes for a while.

As-is, there are bases in the Beverly Hills and Westwood areas, as well as in the central, southwest, and northeast areas. Of course, without a car, taking advantage of that will be difficult.

Use one of their computers to go on the Internet. Create a couple Hotmail accounts. Look on Craigslist for people giving away free stuff. Search for remote-controlled toy gatherings coming up in the area so we can harvest more parts.
