Okay, some PROGRAMMING related plans that also involve some ELECTRONICS.
1: We need an alarm system to tell us when someone opens an entrance to our lab. At first, this should be a Vibration Sensor (1 Copper Wire) attached to a Basic Control Unit plugged into a wall outlet. The control unit detects when the wire jiggles and automatically sends a ping to a linked Basic Control Unit we carry at all times.
Requires: Invent "Vibration Sensor", Program "Alarm Pager".
2: We need security cameras outside the building linked to closed-circuit TVs arranged in a big wall in front of our desk.
Requires: Invent "CCTV Array"
3: We should create a Genuine Star Wars Communicator that we can give to the boy, to earn his loyalty. It should contain a microphone that sends its signal back to a Radio Receiver stationed in our lab and plugged into the wall. This will let us spy on him and his friends. It should also have a speaker so we can give him advice or commands. Tell him the button turns it on or off, but the button actually just turns his speaker on or off. The microphone is always on.
Requires: Invent "Microphone", Invent "Radio Receiver", Invent "Speaker"
4: We need to make a heater for SCIENCE! and also for making coffee. It needs a casing, a heating element, an insulated wire leading to the wall, and a switch to turn it on and off.
Requires: Invent "Flat Coil Heater"
Other plans:
5: Go to LIBRARY. Acquire LIBRARY CARD. Check out a couple good SCIENCE! books.
Use one of their computers to go on the Internet. Create a couple Hotmail accounts. Look on Craigslist for people giving away free stuff. Search for remote-controlled toy gatherings coming up in the area so we can harvest more parts.
During tonight we should be able to do #1 and #3 and #4 completely except for giving the kid the toy.
