Hey all, first time posting on these forums. 

I've been playing DF for about 3 weeks now non-stop.. literally non-stop.  At home I've been playing.. at work I've been playing.. I wake up every 2 hours at night to check if my game has paused for some reason..  My wife and kids have complained at the lack of attention and my computer has been threatened to be confiscated from me (at which point I point and yell "Get away from me you dirty elf sympathaser! Armok must be appeased!", which, needless to say earns me some very odd looks).

Anyway a dorfin friend of mine passed me this link today at work, and I had to share it with you guys .

I've never read that before, it was quite entertaining. I once made a tower over 100 z levels and dropped animals down it. There were many, many elephant chunks on many, many z-levels.

So, a fall of 3 Z-levels is enough to explode things? I wouldn't have expected that to be enough...
Personally I think I would have used a trap loaded with 10 serrated blades.

3 z-levels will rarely if ever explode things. 3 z-levels isn't even a guaranteed yellow wound, IME. 10 z's is your guaranteed gibsplosion distance, but you might get away with eight or nine.

So if you do in fact do this, will they start engraving things that represent the carnage you are causing by dropping people?
