You reload, wasting precious seconds as the gang of ghoulish monsters advance. Mahoney fires again, taking a few, but the star of the moment is Maxwell. He plows through the things with ease, slicing limbs, crushing torsos and spilling the yellow ichor all over the road. At the end of it all, Maxwell simply slings his bloody axe on his back and moves forward to the crash site.

Maxwell volunteers to follow the bloody trails and see if the pilot is still alive. Mahoney and Robert then loot the dead. most of the men were carrying M4 Carbines, although another was carrying a SDM-R. They also have M9 pistols in their holsters. The combat armor of the soldiers are mostly torn and battered beyond usefulness.

Everyone equip M4A1s. Drop our Revolver. Mahoney drops his rifle. Everyone puts an M9 in schler pocket. We keep an extra M4A1 and two M9s, then as much M4A1 ammo as we can carry, then as much M9 ammo as we can carry, then as many M4A1s as we can carry after that, then as many pistols as we can carry after that.
