Acanthus, if you get a 6 on the Leeroy action, then everybody in the group will die. Seriously. Every. Single. One. Tarran you're in and also Tako since I promised him a spot.
Turn 28After getting a summary of the Goddess' speech from someone, I ask the Goddess what she'll do for us or give us to help retrieve the orbs.
(5) Walking up to Tybalt, who seems to be lost deep in thought, you poke him until he turns his attention to you. "
What do you want?" "
What did the Goddess say while I wasn't here?" "
Well ..." For a few minutes, he recites everything the One said. After finishing and catching a breath, he stops babbling and starts thinking again. You thank him and then walk up to the angel and ask: "
Sooo ... Why exactly are we doing this? What do we get for finishing this quest? She turns her head to you and responds: "
Well, first of all you'll get your freedom and you get to pick one of the worlds where you want to live and rule. You'll be given eternal live and every treasure you desire. Oh and on a side-note, you'll also become gods." Considering what she just said, you think about how sweet it would be to rule a whole world as a immortal goddess. For a second you almost let out a sinister "MU-HA-HA-HA", but you manage to suppress your diabolical dwarven magma-flooding plans. Killing off the whole population on your own planet will have to wait till you actually possess one. Saddened you get drunk again.
I celebrate my shoryuken, then ask the goddess if she could enchant my hat. No self respecting wizard would ever have a non-magical hat!
(2) After completing your Street Fighter imitation, you start celebrating it in your own way, which basically means: DANCE RAVE PARTY! Bum bum bum bum. After a little bit of beatboxing and breakdancing, you stop your act of ridiculousness and proceed to think about what to do next. As you are caught up in thought, your hat suddenly flops down and in your face. Annoyed, you rip it off your head and look at it. Wait a second, this thing is still worthless and not useful to your mageness. Every real wizard's hat has to be enchanted with wonderful magic. While you're still here you might as well ask the One for some help. Walking up to her, you ask her if she would be so nice to help you out a little with your hat. She shakes her head and says: "
I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to interfere with the world of the mortals. If I were I might as well to this quest myself, you see. It does make sense that she wouldn't need the group if she could do it herself, but still you don't like the fact of wearing a useless hat. For now it'll just have to do.
Ask the Goddess for an acoustic guitar to take with me whenever we decide to go.
(5) After a while you just give up on deciding for one of the worlds and rather let the other team-members handle that. Instead, you get up and think about one of your dreams. You always wanted to be a rockstar and wouldn't it be tripping awesome to bash your enemies with a acoustic guitar? With a goddess this close, this might be your only chance to fulfill your dream. Walking up to her, you hear the conversation between her and Dragnar. The end result and what she said last discourage you a little, but you can't give up before you've tried. Now being next to her, you ask her for an great guitar. She actually nods this time and says: "
I might be able to help you with that request." With a quick flick of her hand, she opens a pit in the ground next to you. The hole seems oddly familiar and you quickly recognize it as a Quantum-Supply. Knowing how to use these, you ask it for your guitar and it flies out a second later, the QS closing behind it. You grab it in mid-air and look at it. It seems to be made of flexible, high-quality wood. On the head stock you see the letters "Starcaster" written down. Testing your instrument, you notice that it's tuned perfectly already and all the strings sound great. You've really gotten yourself a great one there.
Wake up, and try to make a tree explode by snapping at it (ala Colonel Mustang from FMA)
(3) You shoot up from your sleep and find yourself standing in the stone-circle at the entrance with no one else around. Making a "whatever" motion with your shoulders, you start walking around the trees. Deciding that you have to show your skills once again, you walk up to one of the angry looking trees and focus on it. "
This is between you and me tree. I will destroy you! LOL!" Lifting up your arm slowly, you stretch out your finger and point at the trunk. With a sick grin on your face, you almost look like a psycho. Still smiling you snap your fingers and for a second nothing happens. Suddenly the tree bursts in flames and you almost can hear it scream in pain like it's begging for forgiveness. Cackling to yourself, you imagine that Opal's head would explode if she were here. Actually it's quite weird she isn't since she usually lingers around you just to keep you from doing stuff like that. As you think about it, out of nowhere something hits you in the back of the head again. Sleeping again, you suddenly understand that you never actually woke up. It was all just in your imagination. Shucks.
Finally use my persuade skills to convince the goddess to give me a little 'incentive' to help her find the orbs.
(3+2) (Since I'm so fair I'll give you that point, but next time think of turning off your suit first.) Seeing that Tybalt just got the goddess to help him, you think maybe you could try your luck, too. Pushing the button on your forehead, your armor quickly turns back into the magnificent crystal top-hat. Using your charm and your good image and personality, you approach her with courage and ask her for some help with your quest like a little wimp. Still, she seems to be impressed with your character and asks you what you mean by that. "
Well, maybe something that'll make it easier for us to get the orb?" As you say this, she nods and starts tinkering around on one of her wings. After a few seconds, she turns back to you and hands you a small blue box. "
You'll know what to do with it when the time comes." After saying another one of those lines that could come from weird fantasy movies, you examine it a little more after thanking her for the thing.
"I vote animal!" I yell, swinging Arcanthus wildly about!
(1) "
Animal! Animal! I want to go to animal!", you yell out, while swinging Acanthus around wildly, smashing him into the floor quite a few times. In your blind baby-like rage, you throw him around into all kinds of objects. The last one being the goddess herself. As he flies against her, you hear a loud DING as he comes to a sudden stop and falls to the floor. She turns around and gives you a angry look for a second before turning away again. Stunned by this stare of death, you slowly approach her and take back Acanthus since you don't want to lose your weapon. Having calmed down, you look at him and he looks quite beat up. Even though he can't hear you, you apologize and try to polish him, or rather his face. It doesn't look like he'll wake up anytime soon though.
Casting a scowl at the others for being, well, them, I go ahead and enchant the unconscious Acanthus's loincloth to automatically wake him up any time he goes unconscious, "Lets get moving. Maybe the next place will have some food in it."
(2+1) After face-palming at the idiocy of your entire group, you look back to Acanthus who is being swung around wildly. You think of enchanting his pants to wake him back up, but you decide not to when you see how many times he was smash into stuff. Even a enchanter like you isn't able to fix something like that. You'll have to be a little bit more angry at Gray later for doing that to his own team-mate. Anyways, counting the votes you see that it stands 3 to 2 for the Machine world. Even though you wanted to go to the animal kingdom or the darkness, you know that the vote has been cast and you gotta stay fair, so you look around and seeing that everyone looks as prepared as it'll get, you push the dark gray rune that marks the machine. In a sudden flash, everyone goes blind and then blacks out.
As the group reawakens, they find themselves sitting on a wooden floor. Looking around you can clearly see that this seems to be the house that you were in last time, with the exception that the Quantum-Supply seems to be missing. Everything else seems to be the good old emptiness you're all used to. After getting up, some of the members open the door and walk out. Amazement ensues.
To your left lies a HUGE valley, with riverbeds and dried out lakes. The water seems to have stopped flowing into the river probably causing the sea to dry out. To your right at the top of a cliff-face is something you've never seen before. It looks like a gigantic castle, but it seems to be made of steel and chrome. Giant turning cogs and screws litter the walls of the structure. Everything in that place seems to be a mechanism of some sort, moving something else. The reason for the stopped water also becomes clear. It seems to act as a dam between the two mountains around it. Where it now stands there probably used to be a waterfall. You're not quite sure why anybody would build their home in a place like that or why they would destroy the landscape, but you can tell one thing. That castle is damn impressive.
I fall from the sky and somehow manage to land on the unlucky and unsuspecting dwarf woman.
(5) As the team stands outside, marveling at the fortress, Opal looks to the sky. She's seen enough forts in her lifetime already and seeing another one doesn't make her stare at it with a gaping maw. Taking a few steps away from the group and takes another sip from her flask. KAWOOM. Suddenly there's a loud noise and everybody starts yelling around: "
Did you just see that?!" "
It fired some kind of cannon!" Looking over to the fort, Opal sees some smoke rising up. Then she spots something else. Using her sharp dwarven eyes, she can see a small dot in the sky slowly coming closer. If you look closely it almost looks like a per- SMASH. Too late she saw that it was flying directly towards her. As she picks herself from the ground, she sees you lying on the ground next to her. Getting up yourself, you look around and see the weird group of adventurers. "
... Who are you?" They explain themselves to you and then ask you the same question. "
I'm Evra Von ..." "
Von what?" "
I'M NOT DONE YET. Ehem, as I said, I'm Evra Von. I somehow woke up in that giant fortress over there. The things in there looked at me and found me interesting, so they started to experiment on me. Luckily I was able to escape and I shot myself from the cannon to get out of there." After this Opal gives you a weird look. "... You shot yourself from the cannon?" "
Yep." "
And that's how you meant to escape?" "
Correct." "
... We might just get along really well, buddy.", she responds while smiling and smashing you so hard on the back that you almost fell over. After telling you about the quest, you agrees to go with them and help since you have nothing better to do anyways. Evra Von (what?) has joined the party!
I come out of nowhere and look for a way to get a awesome longsword. Complete with a shield of course.
(5) While the group is still laughing and talking with their newest team-member, you spot them standing next to the house you always thought was abandoned. Looking through your binoculars, you eye every single one of them before thinking that they can't be part of the enemies. Climbing out of your little hide-out, you jump down from the stone boulders and walk towards the group. "
Hey there!", you shout while walking towards them. They at first stand in a defensive manner, but they seem to sense you have no evil intentions and lighten up a bit. "
And who are you?", the big one asks. "
I am no-one else but the one and only Tarran!" You look around, but nobody seems to recognize your name. Sighing for a second you explain, "
I'm the best swordsman of my village. We've been here forever, trying to get rid of that huge castle blocking our water supplies. Are you here to help us? They look at eachother for a second and then nod to you in agreement. "
Great! Well, I'll be traveling with you and I'll try to help as much as possible with whatever you're trying to do." The group explains their quest to you and also lets you join their ranks.

Artifacts:This special tophat came from the Quantum-Supply in Twilight Town. It consists completely of a kind of crystal and is adorned with many others. Around the cylindrical part of the hat are bands made of special earth minerals including sapphire and quartz in different colors. Around the flat side of the hat are many small jewels in a circular pattern. Looking at them closely, you notice that they seem to form a wave-like picture. At the front of the hat is a huge diamond that, when pressed, activates the armor mode.
In the armor mode, long strands of crystal swing around the wearer's body till one, connected suit is formed. The armor is also adorned with jewels in the same fashion as the hat.
Abilities:
-Armor-mode (Activation/Deactivation is a free action.)
A truly legendary hammer, it was once the weapon and tool of the smith Ulthane. The top of the sledgehammer consists of two, average-sized golden anvils joined together. Around the shaft of the weapon are long thin bands of purple silk. At the bottom of the shaft is a small symbol that looks like a hammer. The point where the two anvils are combined has a skull emblem on it and the other side is inscribed with the name "Ulthane".
Abilities:
-Stonewave: When the side of the hammer is smashed into the ground, a wave of stones is lifted up infront of the user. The wave throws up or destroys anything in its way until it comes to a stop, about 100 feet farther.
Quite a powerful artifact, the Staff of Elements strengthens the wielder's magic powers and can use the elements in several ways. The shaft of the staff is about 5 feet long and modeled after two dragons turning around eachother. One is made of dark wood and the other of white wood. At the top of the staff sits a crystal ball, its source of power. The ball is held in place by the heads of the dragons. When the staff changes it's element, the ball glows in a color accordingly.

Element-Change (free action, but can only be changed once a turn)

@Diakron: Oh, that sucks
But just say something and I'll add you back to the active players.
Wow, two team-members in a single turn. Well, happy you finally decided to join tako.
So, here you go and let's just hope that nothing will go horribly wrong in this world (like the last one).
Oh and Acanthus, your actions and their success-rate remind me of Coyote from Gunnerkrieg's Court.
