@Yarn: That's not gonna work. You already got your slingshot from the Quantum-Supply. You can try crafting it though.

Turn 13

Find a nice defensive position, and wait there. Nothing too cornery, as that'd leave me no room to maneuver.

(5) Feeling like you need some kind of defense system, you run to the barricaded houses and the piles. You take some of the wood from the pile and block the exits between the houses to make a single straight road. After that's done, you make a little roadblock with metal from the pile. The roadblock effectively seals of the entrance to the street except for a small space through which the enemies have to pass if they want to enter the road. You sit down next to the entrance, hiding yourself from anybody that enters. This would be the perfect spot to live, if you had some snacks and drinks.

Explore the house I'm stuck in.

(5) Just as most of the other houses, it is empty and quite roomy. The interior is similar to the starting house, expect of course for the non-existent Quantum-Supply. After you look around for a while, you notice something weird on the floor. A small spot on the wooden floor looks different from the rest. As you look closer, you can see that it's some kind of trapdoor. You open it and look down. At the bottom of the hole is something that looks like a tunnel. You peek with your head down there and see that it seems to lead to the dark side of town. Seeing this as an escape opportunity, you leave the hatch open.

I'm going to get to the edges of the barricade and scout out to see if I can see any uglies, and warn the others if I do. In other words, sentry duty.

(5) Seeing that no one has taking the guard duty yet, you take it as your job. You run to the outskirts of the barricade and ready your self for any enemy attack. Using your cat-like senses, you spy around town with your sharp eyes, looking for any kind of threat in form of Ugly Faces. With your hammer in hand, you sit in your little surveillance station. The only way this could be a more perfect spot would be with one of those neat sunbathing chairs. After a while of no activity whatsoever, you suddenly get a feeling that there's something approaching.

Get inside a barricade and practice Pyromancy. I'm gonna need it.

(6) Remembering how the heroes in the movies always defeat the enemies with their awesome flamethrowers, you think that it's a good idea to train some fire-manipulation yourself. Sitting down on the floor and crossing your legs, you concentrate on the flow of energy. You try to materialize a tiny flame and play around with it, but something seems to have gone wrong in the process. As you look around, you notice that you seem to have had a blackout and that you conjured up a huge explosion instead of a tiny flame. The explosion, being made in a house, pretty much blasted it and the barricade surrounding it into pieces. At least there are nine others left. Quickly running into the building that Richard repaired, you think that you should leave the training for later.

I'll rejoin the others and hand Faden my staff, seeing if it reacts to his pyromancy when set to "fire" mode. I want the staff back after that test though!

(5) Noticing that everybody is getting ready for something, you get up and join Opal and Richard in the safe house. You quickly make yourself comfortable and go back to pondering about the use of your staff. Last time you thought about fire, the color of the ball changed to red. Seeing as to how Opal was working on her pyromancy skills just a minute ago, by blowing up a house, you decide to give her your staff so she could blow stuff up even more effectively. Great idea. As you give her the staff and tell her how to use it, she thinks of fire and the ball starts glowing red. As she sees this, she starts swinging it around, until suddenly a fireball is ejected from the front of the ball and leaves behind a size-able hole in the side of the house. At least the barricade is behind the wall, so she didn't make a second door. You rip your staff from her hands and Richard gives her an evil glare for damaging the house he just rebuilt.

Go to the quantum supply and think of some tweezers.

(5) (Ok, since the rolls tell me otherwise and since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you your tweezers :P) Before the battle starts, you think that you'll need some tweezers, so you run up to the house and ask the Quantum-Supply, but the same message about "only one item per person" pops up again. Annoyed by this, you decide to make them yourself, so you go to the metal pile by the barricaded houses and get yourself some material. Then you start bending and cutting the metal like you were taken by a fey mood. Soon, you have some handmade tweezers. You feel more confident in your crafting skills.

wait until everyone who wants to enter the building i repaired enters then go inside and brace the door

(3) You wait in your safe house till Dragnar and Opal arrive, then as nobody seems to come anymore, you close the door and block it from the inside. Or at least you try. The way you rebuilt the door gives it quite a weird shape and it's hard to block it. Nonetheless, you take some of the wood you still had lying around and fortify it. It may not be the best protection and it probably won't hold against a lot, but it'll work for now.

Go punch out some evil!

(2) You see that everyone starts running to the barricaded houses, so you follow for a while. You arrive last at the safe house and everything seems quite different. Seeing that Roland already blocked the door from the inside, you decide to go ugly-bashing instead. So you head out ... or not. As you look around, all the exits are blocked and no matter where you look, you can't seem to find a way out. Looks like you're grounded for now.

From the darkness beyond the buildings, Ugly Faces start to arrive in masses. They stumble around the safe house, trying to get in, but they can't quite seem to find a entrance. Some of the Uglies DO find the entrance and 3 of them walk through the roadblock. The rest is lingering around the walls, hitting with their arms against them, trying to make new holes. The ones that entered don't notice anyone yet, so they just pace around.

Just as a note here, we're going to the beach right now, so I'm not sure whether I can do a turn today.

We didn't have enough time to go to the beach, so we decided to go to Baltimore Bay instead. Twas fun. Since I'm back earlier now, I'll just do the turn.

Turn 14

activate the armor in the most dramatic way possible and then beat up some ugly's.

(1) Being sick of looking for the exit, you decide that it's time to show everybody. You put one arm in the air and another one below. Then you move them in a half-moon circle around and chant some phrases that could come from a Power Rangers episode. As you finish posing, you slam your hand against the diamond and the strands shoot out. They strap themselves around your body and connect to form the Crystal Armor! You await applause for your awesome transformation, till you notice that there is no audience. The only thing this has brought you is the undivided attention of the Ugly Faces, staring at you with their eye sockets.

Think of air and point the staff at the ugly-faces that got through, yelling "lightning bolt!"

(2) Having noticed what Opal just did with the help of your staff, you try to experiment on your own. You put your hand on the crystal ball and start to think of the wind flowing around you, the cool breeze that is gliding through your hair. The sphere reacts to your thoughts and changes it's color to green. Seeing as to how everything is working so far, you decide to test your weapon on the Uglies that just entered camp. You hold out your staff right infront of you and aim towards the enemies. As you feel the power flowing through you, you push forward and yell: "Lightning Bolt!" Thinking about some dramatic scene where the fiends are blown to bits by your immense strength, you wait for something to happen. After a few seconds you notice that nothing has happened. Maybe lightning just isn't one of the elements, perhaps?

Open a pit underneath the Uglies outside.

(2+1) Hearing all the sounds of the hordes outside, you put your hands on the ground and use the earth as your eyes. You can feel the presence of the three Uglies right beside the house and decide to open a little surprise for them. Concentrating on the area around them, you cut out a circle of stone and push it down to create a pit. Not being able to see them directly, you only manage to catch one of them in the hole. The other two were standing too far apart and you weren't able to create a hole quite large enough. (4) Still, the one you managed to capture, broke both his legs when he fell. This makes him an easy target and he won't be able to get out of the pit on his own.

Fortify the building, wonder about farming.

(4) You think that a house can never be safe enough, so you decide to transform this place into a fortress. Looking for materials to barricade everything even more, you see only one place where you can get them. Going into your knees, you prepare for a strong jump. As you push your self off the ground, you jolt upwards and smash your fist into the ceiling, which comes raining down in pieces. Knowing that the Ugly Faces can barely move anyway, they shouldn't be able to jump or climb inside. You fortify the doors and walls even more with your new-found wood. The only way this place can be damaged is a nuclear explosion or attacks from above.

Focus my energies, try to infuse my hammer with darkness-destroying abilities and charge the uglies if they make it through the pit and lightning bolt.

(6) You find that your hammer needs some extra power against your evil foes, so you think it might be a good idea to enchant it. You kneel down on your lion legs and put the hammer on the floor infront of you. Positioning your hands over the weapon, you attempt to infuse it with the powers of light. You think of rainbows, bunnies and all kinds of other happy stuff, concentrating on infusing your weapon with the power to destroy all the darkness. As you open your eyes, you notice your hammer is gone. Looking up, you see it glowing bright white and flying through the air. You jump up and manage to catch it, but it seems to be pulling you towards the darkness. And I mean quite literally pulling. The weapon seems to have a life of its own and is trying to fly toward the end of town. It takes quite a lot of strength to hold on to it.

Dammit... repair house and seal the door with a interlocking porticus  (crap spelling fail)

(3+1) Still being pissed about Opal breaking your wall, you pick up some of the wood lying around and quickly fix it. After having finished that, you seem to not be happy with the crappy blockade infront of the door and decide to add on a little more. Unsure as to how to incorporate or to even make a porticus, you just pick up your hammer and start to work around. When your finished, you're holding two interlocked model-houses in your hand. You take them and bash them against the door till they stick to it. Congratulations, the door now has two interlocking porticuses on it. Hope you're happy with your achievement.

Quote from: Buttons (Yarnspinner)
I take my slingshot and craft a rocket attachment to it, so I can shoot rocks at the speed of sound.

(4+1) With the help of your tweezers, you start breaking off pieces from the metal pile and putting them together. After about, what seemed like an hour of working with your fine hand movements, you have something that somewhat resembles a rocket. Seeing as to how this worked out so well, you attach it to the sling of your weapon. But before the rocket is able to function, you need to get something as a starter for it, so you walk over to the safe house and yell at Gray to come to the door and give you some fuel. He asks his Porta-Supply and fills a small iron piece with it and bends it to a ball so it won't leak. He then throws it over the wall and right into your hands. Barely being able to open the ball up again, you pour the gas into the rocket and ready it. You now have a fully functional Rocket-Sling. With the amount of fuel you have right now, you should be able to use it three times before you have to go and fill it up again.

Quote from: Tybalt (CJ1145)
I ambush one of the Uglies and fence him from the back.

(3+1+1) Waiting for the perfect moment as one of the passes by, you jump out of your hiding spot. In mid-air you pull out your rapier and as you land, you thrust it forward, stabbing clean through the Ugly. (4) Your aim was true and the blade cut right through his heart, mortally wounding him. The damage is so sever that he will die soon. Pulling out your sword, you kick him in the back, throwing him to the ground. Looking like a badass, you clean your rapier and then sheath it again. The only Ugly that's left is still preoccupied with the shiny-ness of McCoy's Crystal Armor and therefore not paying any attention to you. You feel like you have gotten a little better at hiding from your enemies in the shadows.

NPC Turn

Quote from: Ugly Face #1
Still staring at McCoy, he suddenly lunges at him.

(4) The Ugly took off the ground with quite a lot of force, sending him flying like a rocket towards McCoy. As he gets close he lifts his arms, readying himself to punch you out. (6) And he really does. Right before his feet touch the ground, he brings his arms forward in a split-second and right into your face. Getting hit by that much force, you fly quite a distance. You come crashing down quite hard and your back hurts a lot. He roughed you up pretty badly, but broke his own hand against your armor in the process.
