What's the most ridiculous Dwarvenly idea you've ever had for a mega construction?

Me: 30 story solid gold middle finger coming out of an artificial lake or an equally large iron bunny that weeps lava.

I once tried to make magma waterfalls on either side of my fort's entrance, but I underestimated the speed at witch the pumps would spew lava... Yea I needed to dig a new entrance after that.  Although it ended badly, it did get rid of the next few sieges that showed up... and the caravans... and all the new immigrants... COME IN FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP YOU IDIOTS!

My only use of pumps prior to that point had been to make the dwarven power generator that RAN the lava pumps, so yeah...  next time I attempt that I'm building a bigger lava reservoir... and a few more pumps down there... and actually remembering to hook up those pumps...

A fully functional aerial battleship (props and all, engine components and such, weapons, modifyable, bridge... etc.) that can run self-sustained for at least a whole dwarven season with a full crew complement independent from the source of it's build with not a single idler. Sort of.

First thing that came to mind was Pichu the Pokemon.

As in, a mountain carved out to look like a Pichu.

With a bunch of dwarves living in it and magma pouring out of its mouth.
