I would have given one to snow, but they were in such bad condition they would do more harm than good (All items have health).

Dear Diary, we have taken the airport in the city of Drassen with great success. No deaths, but a slight injury, if you can call it that.

We arrived at the airport from the west and snuck along the bottom of the area. We split into the same two teams we did last time, but this time we would regroup at the airport gates.

Before we could get into our positions for the assault we spotted a single old enemy. He didn't notice us yet, so we continued according to plan.

Me, Grunty, and Hunter reached a nearby rooftop completely unnoticed. All was going smoothly, as Team A advanced upon the airforce entrance. Team A engaged and killed several targets at the entrance.
However, two VERY sneaky enemies reached the rooftop, but luckily Hunter was startled enough to quickly turn and put exactly one bullet in each of their skulls. Thank god for hunter, or I may not be writing this right now.

Both teams began advancing upon the gate to regroup, killing the last group of enemies on the way.

We later swept up the area of one hiding bad dude, and killed him of course. I put in the order for our guns and equipment. The team awaited the new weapons without patience, they would have to wait until some time tomorrow morning. It was like christmas once the guns showed up. Here's everyones new setup.

A few notes on the new gear.

Anya. I gave you a Colt AR15. No, not an M16. An AR15. An AR15 is a civilian version of an M16 Pattern rifle. It is semiautomatic only to comply with United States Federal gun laws. As your sidearm you gained a Glock 18, a fully automatic version of a Glock 19. Basically a machinepistol.

Irontooth. You gained a Galil AR, the Israeli version of an AK47. The sight radius was increased, was rechambered to fire 5.56x45 Nato, and got some comfy new handguards. Since your IMP started with a few random 40mm grenades, you got an M79 Grenade Launcher for them. You got the same pistol as Anya.

Senator. You got a Benelli M4 Semi Automatic 7 shot shotgun. It has RIS rails for customization. I also gave you 42 slugs, 35 buckshot, and 7 rounds of Lockbuster rounds. Can you guess what they do?
Your handgun is classy, since you're a senator and all. A browning hipower35. A modernized version of John Brownings hipower 9mm handgun originally produced in 1925. It holds 15 rounds of 9x19 caliber ammunition. Also, you started with two platinum watches and a bottle of beer. Wtf.

Hunter. You retrieved an H&K MP5SD. A variant of the MP5 with a fully integrated barrel/silencer combination. Your handgun is a Glock 17 pistol. A semiautomatic 9x19 caliber weapon. It also holds 15 rounds.

Grunty. I like the way Grunty runs&guns so I gave him two rifles. A Colt AR15 and a Colt M4Commando. The M4Commando is an M16 pattern rifle but with a 10 inch barrel, allowing for great maneuverability in close quarters. You also have a Glock 17.

Me. I gave myself a Colt M4Commando as well and a Browning Hipower35. Because I too, am a classy sum'bitch.

OOOH, an Italian-made shotgun!  They make really nice shotguns!

Slugs are solid rounds and thus great on armor, buckshot is a bunch of pellets or similarly small objects that move in a spread and thus rip apart unarmored targets, and I'm guessing Lockbuster rounds have even more penetration on armor than slugs?

a civi rifle? hope it has some range on it. at least i have the auto glock in-case things get hot ^.^

Out of curiosity why did you go with the AR15 instead of the M-16? Cost?

I gave her an AR instead of an M16 because in the options I had Bobby Rays set to only the second best setting. Not many accurate assault rifles to choose from, and the only rifle more acurate than the AR15 was the Mosin Nagant, which is a slow, hard to move Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle. Not to mention 5.56x45 is a lot easier to find and shoot than 7.62x54r. When I get home I'll do another update in Taking Drassen. Be warry players, the last sector of Drassen is known as being one of the hardest leveles in the game.

Can I get a few suits of Camo, and a knife?

what is an IMP btw?

IMPs are the game's Custom made Mercenaries. AIM gives you a roster of Mercenaries to hire. (Such as Grunty) They are acronyms and have meanings but I forget them at the moment.

I guess I noticed this thread a little late. Would have gotten in on it if I had caught it from the beginning.

Dear Diary, we began pushing south into Drassen. There used to be another airfield here but it is in too poor of condition to run. When Snow and Hunter were scouting the area they found that all of the enemies were in the southeast/east/northeast sections of the area. There were some buildings to the west, so we began our attack from there. We snuck of course.

Again, as always, we spotted an enemy soldier before we were in our proper positions. But again, as always, we were not spotted.

We were spotted entering our positions, Hunter and Grunty specifically. They didn't know there were 6 of us yet, so Grunty and Hunter pulled back and began awaiting the enemy to come looking for them.

However they took too long, so we got in our positions for attack. Team A consisted of just me and Grunty. Team B was everyone else. Team A would keep guns pointed to the east, waiting for reinforcements to try and save their mates to the south. Meanwhile, Team B would be massacring the enemies hanging out in/near the bar to the south.

Irontooth began engaging enemies at a greater distance than he should, as per his tradition. He almost always manages to kill his targets though.

Teams A and B split up, to engage the remaining enemies.

An enemy popped out from the forest, sprinting. He stopped in front of Grunty and grazed him once. Grunty remained unshaken, and shot right back at him killing him.

Me and him continued to kill enemies hiding in the forest, while Team B cleared the bar, mostly due to Senators shotgun artistry.

We knew there was at least one more bad dude left though, and we couldn't find him. Snow joined Team A and we almost immediately found him sitting in the middle of the road.

He didn't seem to shoot back at all, so I finished him with a burst from my new toy.
But alas! There was still one more out there! We joined Team B and began scouting the area. We looked for quite a times before we spotted a single woman in the forest. Hunter got in close and let a 3 round burst from his MP5SD into her chest, which brought her to the dirt.

As I write this we have found a factory. It's small, but packed with small children. Can't be more than 10 years old, poor buggers. We met the owner, she insists she is treating these children well, but it's painfully obvious they aren't. It choked me up, and I begged at her to let them go, she said it was none of my business. I tried threatening her and that didn't do anything either. Right now the group is deciding what to do.

Hmm... not that I'm wishing anyone will die... *shifty eyes.* But since there will ultimately be moral dilemmas... let's add some morality.
