Herbert!? Noooooo! *sigh* He will be missed. What shall happen next, jasonred79? Providing you're there, of course. You may not have noticed the topic update. =P

Experimenting with camstudio. Having a massive phailtrain. Will attempt to upload videos later. Here's the savefile and some spoilers:

Edit: oops, pressed escape button instead of X. The previous save was the 30th. This is the first of new month.

All I ever had to do is tick the "Record audio from microphone" option under the Options tab in CamStudio. You can delve into the "Audio Options for Microphone" bit, but I never needed to do that; if CS ain't picking up your mike, though, you can try selecting it from there and seeing if that fixes anything.

Anyway, I reckon Zangi's turn is next. Presuming he's fine, well, and wishes to continue. Hurrah.

Oh? You recommend I just use the PCM default compressor? I tried getting LAME but it wouldn't install properly...

As I haven't altered any of the settings in the Audio Options area, mine's still at PCM. That's the only audio compressor I could recommend for you, since it's the only one I've used with CS.

Hmm. From this point on, unless someone massively failtrains, we've got it in the bag. I tried disbanding and we eked out a win in 2020.
Also, I noticed that we are lacking a sleeper judge!!!! No wonder Herman lost his case!!!

Hmmm...

Give me a day or 3... so yea... guess the biggest problem is getting started to begin with.

Fuu---

Forgot about this, between arguing on the internet, life and making my DF mod work.

Umm... yea.  Wanna skip me?

Five days? Yeah, we'll skip.

Uh, if Rolan7's up for trying his hand at LCS again, I reckon it can be his turn (his last turn glitched, so he may want another shot at payback). Otherwise, I'm reckoning it'll be my turn again.

Sure, I'll try this again.  I did some independent playing and watched some of Grimith's videos, and now I think I'm ready to not get the LCS somehow massacred on the cusp of victory!

Don't expect literary greatness from me, though.  I'll do commentary but I'm not up to storytelling right now ):

Turn probably up sometime tomorrow morning.

Dudes. In future, try not to skip your turns. It defeats the purpose of having a community effort.

I recognise that many of you are perfectionists, but we've more or less reached the point where you can hit W for 2 months and will not cause detriment to the liberal cause. So, it's perfectly acceptable to do the bare minimum of playthrough and do it in say 15 minutes of free time, write a 5 minute commentary, and call it done. That would possibly reduce people skipping and dropping out of the project.

Ok turn's done!  At 03:19 local time, woohoo!  I hope I did everything correctly, I've never shared so many screenshots before.  Looks fine in preview.

Save (right-click and save-as, don't just left-click): www.tratan.net/LetsPlay-5-10-2010/save.dat

And here's my writeup!  I even took screenshots this time!  Apparently "screenshots" isn't in the Firefox dictionary, huh.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And that's it!  Grimith didn't die, I didn't burn down any of the safe houses, and the public is basically 99% behind us on everything.  Except cable news which they recently freaked about, but only temporarily.  No bugs either.  All in all, much better than my last run would have been, had it not been retconned out of existence.
