Well, you know how if you take your thumb and forefinger and hold them up to your eye, you can make it look like you're squishing someone's head? It's like that, only for real.

X saves and quits.

The damn save I downloaded overwrites everything.

Huh? Unless you redownloaded it and overwrote it, that really shouldn't be the case. I mean, I quit multiple times during my turn. Did you check?

And if you always return to the beginning of the turn, how were you planning to upload the save?

FUCK IT I QUIT

Wait a sec...you mean the "close window by pressing X in upper right hand corner", as opposed to "press the 'X' key on the keyboard", don't you?

See, the 'X' Symbol in the upper right hand corner of the window should close the game without saving, but LCS usually saves at the end of every day, so you usually only lose the current day.

But the 'x' key on the keyboard is used to save the game.

I can understand how losing a day's activity can be annoying, especially if several squads took action.  But honestly, I usually either have the game crash on days I'd rather not save, so I'm lucky I guess...

No, I mean X on the keyboard. And it was a month I lost.

How did you lose a month? It autosaves every day.

I really don't see how that's possible unless you deliberately overwrote it. The game reads the file 'save' in the LCS directory, and it overwrites that when you press X. Unless you put in a new file called 'save' afterwards, then it should be impossible to lose your game. The scenario you describe is impossible, as I understand it, so I can only conclude that you're describing it incorrectly. Is that intentional?

Whatever. We can move on to Jason, I guess. Grimith, have you PM'd him? He doesn't seem to be in attendance.

Right-o. I don't understand the reason behind the technical difficulty, but we're moving on. Looks like it's up to jasonred79 to carry on after EuchreJack. He's fairly active in the forum, so he should be paying attention to this topic; I'll kick him a PM just in case, though.

I'm telling you, I hit x on the keyboard by accident, and when I reopened LCS I was back to where EuchreJack's save was at.

All right, jasonred79 hasn't responded to my PM or any queries here about his activity. Though he's got some time before his turn officially ends, I'm reckoning it's a lost cause.

The next person on the list is Slax. I'll shoot him a PM; either to be prepared to take over now after EuchreJack's turn or, in the event jasonred79 DOES post, to be prepared to handle that.

Ha, and I was slightly worried that my turn would come up over the weekend while I was without internet!

I've been training, haha, and I think I'm ready to not get the squad wiped out.  Apparently my playstyle was extremely pacifist, which explains why the game was so slow, and I'd never had to deal with the CCS providing a physical threat to my hacking/newspaper operation.
