I don't see what all the hate toward Elves is about. These are the guys who eat entire civilizations over a few trampled daffodils!

They're more violent than your average Dwarf. Dwarves by large cower underground behind multiple layers of insta-death traps, vomit like infants if a little sunlight gets in their eyes, and die to a single goblin with a wooden spear. Your awesome siege-destroying Dwarves are comparitively rare, certainly not representative of the entire Dwarven race!

...That's who most of them see - thus dwarfs are seen as the elf murdering, eating, tool making of elves.
Not every race can be outside living in trees, some of them have to do the dirty jobs..it's how the flat world goes around.

No no no, you use his bones to grow a tree somehow, then you cut down the tree and make a wooden/bone statue depicting the carp eating him. Then you send it to the elves as a gift.
