I've just taken control of the United Earth Government.  Havn't a clue what my predecessor has done.  It seems the previous administration has not given their report as of yet.

Decided to make the Cargo Mk1 obsolete, seeing as we have the Mule Freighter 1.  ... The speed of our civilian ships are abyssmal.  I must do something to remedy that.  Time waits not for humanity.

1st order of business is to assign the 5 available labs to Curtis Tenbrink for the research of Stellarator Fusion Reactor Technology.

Our supply of Duranium and Mercassium are low.  Expansion of mining capability is a must.

It seems I've overlooked the report on one of the Hawking 002's destruction.  Knight Nadia Vorontsov and her surviving crew were found dead by a civilian ship long after life support ran out.
Review of the other Hawking ships shows that 001 requires repairs.  I'll decommission these ships, we have no need of them nor do we have the facilities to maintain them.

Research for colonization has been completed, freeing 10 labs.  I immediately put Jan Karney as head of 5 labs to research increasing the power output of our engines by 5%.
The other 5 labs have been placed under Curtis Tenbrink's research on Stallarator Fusion Reactor Tech.

Whats this?  We have not set-up fleet command?  Blasphemy.  Utter blasphemy.  No wonder why I've been getting all these useless and time consuming reports.  This must be remedied now....   
The damned politicians have blocked all my attempts at appointing Arman Melinkov... and also my second pick, Gerhardt Tafel.  I must ensure that this never happens again.  But, that is for another time.

What with the workload on my part in reviewing everything...  I have had to stay up late for the past few months.  I'm on to their game.  Those politicians will all rue the day....

The civilians put up a mining colony on Asteroid #62, Duranium and Mercassium deposits have been found there.  I've decided to buy it all.  Our treasury is in the green anyways.

Reports from Hawking 001 came in, 2 delerict ships... We are not alone, but... are they hostile? 
I've decided to have Hawking 001 continue with the survey plans.  Besides that, there seems to be 2 suns. 
The crew of Hawking 001 has decided to call this system Sainte-Vaubourg, no reason not to go along with it.

It seems its the end for me...

What surprises me is that I have not yet encountered anything other then 4 delerict ships.  But then, I have not combed the systems with active sensors....

In closing...

Research into the targeting system and gauss technology has gone relatively well. I believe I've made decent headway into the development of military and engine technology.  But may have been a little week with acquiring resources.

A new colony has been set up in Temple Cloud, Moon 6.  Just need to move some people there.

I think I'll have to skip this round, I'm still pretty busy working on a project, and I'm procrastinating enough goofing around with Dwarf Fortress on and off.

I expected to be done with the project before my turn came up, but with the skips my turn came a few days too early :D

I left that to others, since we havn't researched salvaging tech as of yet.  Plus, they can still be used....  no matter how inefficient...  Oh yea, I left a lot of ships idling back on earth.
