Unknown Material

Those Black spots read as "Unknown" and where some of the water is it says "muddy Unknown". This happened after I built something on the ice, at first when it melted it floated on top of the water,
 but then when I saved and loaded again it fell and caused this unknown to appear. So What is this stuff? is it dangerous?
