I'm currently making a nice room for my legendary clerk. I always treat my legendaries with the greatest respect, giving them the best rooms and so on. Although the walls are mostly engraved with pictures of my miner starving to death after he fell down a well, so it's not too cheerful.

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.

5. In search of Purring Maggots, she came to a cave

(Tell me we can keep the <Long A>-<Long A>-<Long A>-<Short B> rhyme scheme. It's awesome!)

PS - in the next song we need to incorporate some DF 2010 stuff! ^.^

16: It crept up from behind and took off the cheesemakers head.

New rule:  The "No Blocking" Rule.
Blocking is the act of posting a line that interrupts the flow of the song by being both off topic, and a poor rhyme.  These lines make it difficult for the following poster to progress the song.

I'm looking at you Put.

If you encounter a line in the song which is "Blocking" simply say "Blocked" and pretend he didn't defile the song.  Remember:  It has to be both off topic and a poor rhyme for it to be blocked.

Song and new rule added to OP.
