How about:
9. Nobody cares for the Nobility!

Dwarven economics are still in the experimental stages. The humans have told them that they need to throw a lot of money around to get things going, but every time the dwarves try all they just end up with a bunch of coins lying all over the place.

[aba bcb cdc ded efe f] He was the first E rhyme in the song.  Your follow up line was a d, adapt and preference, (both D's) do not rhyme.  As this is a strict rhyme set themed song.  How about:

12. Urist rallied a feline defense.

I'm afraid you're still missing the rhyme scheme. :P
Line 15 has to rhyme with 13 and 12 (wash and quash)

Also, 16 (the last line) has to rhyme with 14, which doesn't have to rhyme with 8, 10 and 12.
In fact, it might be better if it didn't, should it be changed?  ???

People are getting too serious.  Ze Spy's line stays, despite getting the rhyme wrong, he is on topic and thus: within the rules.

16.  Urist's cats are the fortress guard forever hence.

So there's no more confusion for future songs, the 17th poster is the final authority on how strictly the rules are going to be enforced for the following song.  Use these tags to lay down the law, (if you want a serious song.) #17:

[Syllable Count][Rhyme Scheme][Theme Relevant][Verses per Post Maximum 8]

If anyone has any other tags they'd like to add, I will consider it.  Rules and Song updated in OP.
