Wasn't paying attention, but damn, now I won't get 10 years since the start. Oh well.

Sure you can  :o.

Offer oidip to go ahead of ya.  And Moonlight_Knight to go ahead of me... just to keep me my proper two steps behind ya  ;D.

That is, if you really want to keep the 10-year stretch stretching 8)

It's perfectly fine. :3

The order really doesn't matter to me.

Right, I'm back and ready to go, I'll download the correct save in a moment and fire this bad boy up whenever I  get time.
It will likely be soon, my only current preoccupations are The Restaurant at the End of The Universe and a pot noodle.

It's been about 4 days without any word, really.

Sorry, preoccupied. Springtime report times!

Diary of 'Drake' Libaddodok

1st Granite
Well, this place has gone to the dogs. I blame the count. There's always been a tradition of leadership around here. You find the journal, you lead for a year. And I just tracked it down.
Heehee.
So, I took this baby up to the count, gave him a big speech and smacked him with the journal for good measure. I'm not sure he was convinced, but the public rallied around me, and I reclaimed my place.
First order of business: Fixing my Big D.

4th Granite
Some elf dude says we're cutting down too many trees. This is irrelevent to my D.

7th Granite
Looks like someone moved the butcher's shop away from the chimney I built for the single purpose of dealing with miasma.
I'll start dealing with that.

8th Granite
I've started removing the bottom of my big d, letting whatever's stored on it fall to the magma. It shall be rebuilt.

13th Granite
Step one of Operation: Fix My Big D is complete. We only lost a few masterpeices and a child. We're doing far better than I thought we would and at a much faster rate.

20th Granite
Kobold just showed up. I'm gonna ignore it, because we've got plenty of stuff and plenty of pointy things to kill it.

23 Granite
Armorer's in a mood. Gone fey on us.

3rd Slate
The armorer made us a nifty piece of mail.

7th Slate
Step two of Operation: Fix My Big D is done. The main artifact is complete, now just to protect it..

19th Slate
Step three is going swimmingly. I will, of course, be placing gem windows in the walls to allow people to see the majesty of my D.

2nd Felsite
A tax collector has just arrived amongst some migrants.

17th Felsite
I'm probably gonna have to start mining for more gems.

2nd Hematite
Step three is roughly halfway done, and I'm pleased as punch.

I don't see a D. O_o

Oh well.

I'm playing Oblivion to occupy my time. I love collecting Dwarven Crap in that game. Same with Morrowind.

Jordrake, nice update. Take your time, but don't take too long.

Let this be a lesson not to dump crap on my D.

I might need a slight extension, my laptop's infected and it's currently getting fixed. I'm only online on the safe mode of my dad's laptop (also infected). I'm still playing on my offline laptop, so I should have a nice, piping-hot update when I get my laptop back and working. Give me 'til the weekend, I should be back by then.

Worry not! Anything that could be drank or melted was... well, drank or melted. The rest was just rocks and goblin pants. And some stuff I bridgapulted on there later.

Don't worry. Take your time.

I've got my first job interview this week, and if I'm lucky, I'll get a job. So yeah, Lokumidek is the least of my worries. o.o

Extra-special summer-time fun issue!

Diary of 'Drake' Libaddodok

2nd Hematite
Step three is roughly halfway done,

4th Hematite
A marksdwarf has died of thirst. Unfortunate.

10th Hematite
A human caravan has come, but I have no idea where the lever for the bridges is. I've decided to convert my bedroom lever for the purpose. I totally don't see this going wrong. Also, I struck more golden beryl, this will be very useful in the construction of my Big D's observatory wall.

13th Hematite
Hurm. They found themselves a way in. Nifty.

19th Hematite
I gave the humans a pair of socks and a bin full of clothes that don't fit us. In return, I took all their food. They seemed strangely happy with this arrangement. Humans, eh?

22nd Hematite
Goblins have shown up. Shouldn't be a problem, particularly with the human caravan here with us.

28th Hematite
Some planter has withdrawn from society.

1st Malachite
And claimed a Mason's Workshop.

4th Malachite
And started a construction.

5th Malachite
And here's another ambush. It seems they've stopped to pointlessly murder a cat.

7th Malachite
Our axedwarves are certainly impressive.
Ooh, and the planter made a throne.

8th Malachite
My Big D is near complete.

13th Malachite
Step three is done! The Big D is complete and is protected from desecration! My legacy is protected until our fortresses fall!

16th Malachite
Apparently a titan showed up a while ago. Can't seem to find it. I think it's at the top of the tower suspended above my Big D.

28th Malachite
Damn it's boring now my Big D restoration project is done..

2nd Galena
An engraver's given birth.

6th Galena
Word has it, that migrants were too nervous to come.

23rd Galena
I've far extended our mining program. You can never have enough multicoloured rocks, I always say.

---
Right, just gotta do the latter two seasons and I'm done. What with the successful military and stocks of food and drink, I've not got much to do except build pointless stuff and dig randomly.
