My dog got mauled by two wolverine men, it killed one (with my help with actually finishing it off) and scared off another. It's still standing despite the bruised upper spine and mangled heart, it's not bleeding or anything.

finally get to see what the necromancers where doing with bogeymen.
I can see why they keep them as summons.
well kinda hit the kicker on this plan, I need a preserved body and uhh ragdolling a bogeyman into the ground probably damage the body enough to not being fit for reanimation.
the other idea was get them to transform and kill them which probably leaves a body post the sunrise but that requires not pissing off the bogeymen while killing them.

well didn't get a revived bogeyman but I got the corpse out of the cackling from the bogey just transforming into a Tiger that bleed out.
so now I got an undead lich human lady riding a shapeshifting undead bogeyman. probably find a way to preserve the bogeybody, but uhh the bogeymen polymorphing into animals turns them into wild animals thus any protection from having no fear was gone and I think dragging the body away from the spot it died probably prevented me from resurrecting them. either way 10 percent chance of this evil biome to show up so one could get themselves a shapeshifting companion mount.

Got in an artifact hunt and the artifact was with a human in a inn at a town. Got there but the lag was unbearable. Years and Years of development and a large part of adventure mode is still completely unplayable.

I've found that riding on a mount reduces the lag for some reason, at least in my case.

As long as you are in control, you can mount anything. A god "cursed" me into the form of a giant bark scorpion, which was awesome. I mounted my trusty steed and wanted to joust some bandits with my scorpion tail. But an angry elephant came rushing towards us and trampled my horse to death.

We spent hours fighting, him stomping upon my limbs and pulping them, and me stabbing him with my tail and injecting him full of venom. Just as the beast had disabled me and was going in for the killing blow, it succumbed to the poison, and I finished it off by piercing its skull with my stinger. It was a hell of a fight.

Please complain on  the announcement thread. I want him to speed up adventure mode aswell. Though most of the time human towns are fine for me.

Most of the time, human towns are fine for me as well. The only time it got unbearable was when there was this library with elf and goblin scholars; they ended up having a huge fight because of the goblin's need to attack anyone they don't know is an ally and the elves freaking out because goblin scholarson suddenly got out his knives. (Though, that town also had the issue of elven squads patrolling... elven squads, for whatever reason are about 50-100 units big)

I continued on with my detective, going out to different places and just kinda flattering/pacifying/joking at people in the hamlets. Came across bandits harassing a hamlet, talked to a goblin swordsman. He was constantly, repeatedly flattering my female adventurer, and following me around because 'harassing bandit'... I have to say, I never expected this update to successfully simulate pick-up artists...

Rode a grizzly bear into battle against an army of undead. It was badass.

Grizzlies seem to make really good mounts, I recommend them.

I was looking for my lost horse. I could not find it, so I went away. On my way, I rolled a die.
13! I got a pet. A giant saltwater crocodile. I am now riding it over the mountains back to my base.

Edit:
Aaand it disappeared.
I was brought out of fast travel by feeling uneasy. I could not move. I tried to dismount and mount again, as that usually fixes that. But when I dismounted, my crocodile disappeared.

Edit, the second:
And it is back again, after fast traveling on foot. It came with me.

Gonna test a party of adventurers, and one become a necromancer and uses raise intelligent undead on their companion to see if i get back control of them. That seems like one method of getting the new force push interactions and another new night creature to play as. Since it ressurects instead of animating.

And in previous versions i have gotten back control of my adventurer when ressurected using custom interactions so i imagine it will work the same.

Too bad that "failed" experiments by necromancers who aren't more than animals can't be ridden. Found a flock of "Wolf of Ligir", giant feathered spiders with a large trunk that were created by experiments with horses, who were tamed by a civ and freely roamed the fields in a town, aside with chickens and dogs. Unfortunately, no way to tame or ride them and use them as pack mules. My adventurer just can lead them to death a better place with green fields and plenty of food.
Maybe a short dive into the files can change that. Such beasts have to be used as mounts. They are begging for it.
