You beat up a zombie dog for 40m.

This is the true essence of Adventure mode.
Pretty much. Somehow my bowman companion managed to bleed to death, which, considering all Danger Room could do was shove, is... I just don't know. Disappointing? Tragic? Confusing? As a warrior-skald, I may or may not be telling stories of her [not very] heroic fight, hopefully editing out everything but the conclusion all the embarrassing parts.

Enore Bemehushav took his newfound skills bestowed upon him by 'Danger Room' Ageblush and went titan hunting. Turns out the titan in question was a giant humanoid made of snow, so basically a snowman (or maybe more like a snow angel, since he had wings). Naturally I cut him in half with a single strike. Well, this will be a great story to tell (people will adore Enore), but it might need some embellishing to make it more substantial. I'm a little stunned that this titan actually managed to kill 264 people. And I'm a little disappointed that I didn't nickname him Frosty before slicing him in two.

that was no bus, that was a wagon testing if babies could survive the pit. good job murdering my zomdog, now I have to stitch it back together

so I  think I may have accidentally made a variation of giant cave spiders that just look like wagons, and I think I saw one dfhack digging into the caverns.

While you were digging holes to the caverns, I was using dfhack to clear a hole through the SMR and set up a cozy little house tucked up against the roof of hell.

cool stuff hah

Wish we could throw/uppercut people into air, it would be hilarious! also apparently theres a roof at top level of the map. launching someone to topmost z level (with dfhack)
will cause them to take impact damage once they get to top and then again once they come crashing into ground

combine this with folks landing on someone and you end up seeing them bounce off the ground

still, simply slamming someone into a tree or wall is so much more effective. wish they actually exploded all over the place though

for effectiveness I kinda have a demon banishment/bonding talk dialog script mapped to a hotkey which works on everyone, just gotta be away from them else they could punch you mid speech.

throwing someone hard enough into the floor that they gib is fun but really one should be seeing if you can trickshot throws into other people so you get 2 for 1 throw kill.

Yeah I love sprint slaming targets into walls, off cliffs, at other targets. I'm guilty of even using my drunk soldiers as weapons and distractions to get them into the fight quicker.
I never use classical weapons anymore, the body and creativity is the weapon. Sure I will throw an arm, sure I throw rocks, it just takes longer in a fight with the UI.
I'm also a sucker for being a vampire. Their ability to fight is incredibly accurate.
The grappling of limbs, intercepting of blows then chewing a knuckle, causing pain to humanoids then asking telling them to yield is a favourite of mine. Only to full hand pinch the back of the spine.
Blood is drunk then corpse cast away, flit up a tree, drop onto the flesh, bite bite hunger find the vein eat the life, bite bite, I change into a hyena
Monthly cravings to murder the fort, I have no tamed animals anymore as I ate most and just kicked a dog for a laugh.. hmm poor mut, I like dogs I wouldnt do that unless I was hungry.
Oh well

Started new peasant dwarf: Fath Woodpot the Hardiness of Breads. Stout like dwarven beer, and correspondingly thick-limbed, Fath's dream—besides wandering around and crushing skulls—is to build a nice fortified house out of chert, which happens to be one of the rock types in this northernmost frozen biome.

Fath began this run by heading to the nearest fortress to swim, but found himself hunting two moose cows. While he had 60 cabbages on hand, their consumption leaves seeds and the only way to eat without leaving a mess is to stand on a campfire tile which acts as an incinerator.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
A fire started in a fortress will never go out, so it's better to go with meat. Since he started with no weapon skill, just novice fighter and wrestler, he had no shield. While watching the moose cows from the tree line he macro'd knapper to proficient and threw sharp chert stones which did little damage. Macro'ing knapping was more to see when an average analytical ability would move to above average and then perhaps to high. At proficient, there was no observable attribute change.

After swimming, ambushing and crutch-walking to legendary, which is a compressed grind not unlike bi/tri-weekly farmers walks…
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
…Fath ended up strangling a solitary giant, whose lair he stumbled upon when leaving the fort.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Fath traveled westward along the mountain chain to human lands. Part of his aim was to farm meadhalls for arrows, partly for adventure, but mostly to change his clothing. It's so cold, the best clothing would be wool, and so Fath layered up, knitting a wool shirt, vest and coat. Wearing a leather shirt chafes the skin, even the coarse skin of an insensible blockheaded dwarf.

Now woolly and properly outfitted, encased in pig tail gambeson and finally warm, Fath engaged in a raid on a town troubled by human bandits. During this encounter, a maceman belonging to the local meadhall was mistakenly pin-cushioned with arrows and then morningstar'd to death. The villager whose home this occurred in, was not happy at all. Fath forgot to check inventory as hearthpersons tend to wear armor with some insignia. The rest of the bandits suffered the same fate.

The iron morningstar claimed the names of 4 humans, but felt not quite right in use. Far too many embedded strikes. Fath exchanged it in town for the rather ornate <<silver war hammer>> which caught his eye.

so playing corrosion 43.05 edition  and I finally found a night troll mate, only to find out that yeah they start off as the changed creature,
so now A excop name key is escorting a dfhacked changed night troll mate back to their brother a prisoner turn president name Steel.
the Night troll now human name is shield and all talks about the person from the brother stated Shield was his Young Daughter/sister only to be revealed to be a guy.
oh and shield up and murdered the general escort so now I'm stuck with someone who hates her dad/brother and bringing her/him back to where I started this mess.

this is going to be a bloody reunion.

okay some how I ended up being mayor of a small town just from that family reunion(it ended bloody). oh and by god the new corrosion mod has zombies that infect! which makes combat more avoiding than attacking head on.
lost a night troll to infection and it was neat to see them slowly turn.
what's not neat is the complete and utter lack of building in this mod, some how the revamp creator forgot to make rock axes work so now it just eats your supplies.

edit: so there a huge City and it's loaded to the brim with undead, hopefully I can venture in and find some goods probably find some guns to make for my companions.
