Well, like I said, steel armor will get messed up if you're skipping across the ground at high speeds, but otherwise it holds up well, even to my fully buffed fists of doom (I put dorfs under creature_beast along with megabeasts and they use dragon materials, so I'm hard on armor barehanded) but yeah I'd put it up there with iron material properties, just make sure THEY have it too, since it's more fun having your copper spear bounce off their hide and such.

I have no idea why there were so many weapon lords at this site, none were in a building, there was just a single asterisk near the river so I went over there and found them.


I was like "fuck it, there's a reason I've been hauling around this +copper minecart+ full of booze, and it isn't just endless drinks"...

The whole thing was getting in the way of trying to train as a performer so I drank some vampire blood. After beating some emus into unconsciousness to slake my thirst I should be good to remain undetected for awhile.

I changed armor level at some point and hadn't noticed it, putting them back to vanilla values makes it spawn right!

so during wagon venture I found a Giant sparrow and recruited it to the party, after realizing there's nothing to the left and needed to go south.
the 4 wagon riders decided its best time to murder a lion but uhh everyone kept reviving it and trying to snap it's neck so I left.
currently at a hilltop filled with drunks.
oh and I think my companions are already starting to infight and telling each other to YIELD. so this is good.

EDIT: Well, I built a dinky little house. I then remembered that oh yeah, fucking outsiders can't claim. Didn't I just derp at someone for that? And in this case there are no civilizations to join.

Hey, I was looking at all the other values trying to figure out what was breaking it, the idea that a HIGHER armor level was preventing armor spawning just didn't cross my mind.

It works though, and sometimes you get the "necro towers with skilled corpses" thing which means this happens now.


Also found a non-sacked temple with a lava pool and punched a criminal into it, popping their guts out, so I decided to add to the horror of being disemboweled and did it while they were drowning in lava!

So I claimed a town that happened to be abandoned except for a bandit gang. The bandits were so moved by my exploits that they all agreed to join me as my hearthpersons, all save the captain. So i started a fistfight with them. At first nobody else got involved, but it instantly escalated to lethal even though I'd only punched 'em. They yielded, and after I walked away became no quarter and then everyone dogpiled them. One of my new hearthpersons got the kill.

I then went to visit a town, and the game crashed shortly after leaving. So I'm back to the point right before I punched the captain. Let's see what happened if I stab them in the guts.
